Finding their new home was rather easy for Devon, since all he needed to do was look for one massive house and one massive house he found. However, there was a slight problem, Dimitri and Charlotte were nowhere to be found. After looking around for 10 minutes, Devon started to worry. He had no way to contact them since their phones no longer worked and they were out of range for telepathic communication.
Just as was about to burn the whole forest to the ground in search of them, the front door opened. Rushing, he appeared at the door almost instantaneously and there stood Dimitri and Charlotte, as if nothing happened.
"Where the fuck have you been?" Devon asked enraged.
"Chill bro, why're you so pissed? We were just out." Dimitri tried calming Devon.
"Is that really the question you should be asking? I think the real question should be, where the fuck have you been?"
"We were uh, on a date." Charlotte managed to get out.
Upon hearing those words, all the rage Devon felt instantly disappeared.
"Follow me." Devon said, looking at Dimitri as he headed out.
"But, what about ..." Dimitri started.
"We'll be right back Charlotte, just wait five minutes." Devon interrupted.
Heading out, Devon took Dimitri to the snake corpse, making sure they were far enough from the house.
Standing on the corpse, Devon only had one question.
"How did it happen?"
"So, you aren't mad anymore?" Dimitri asked.
"I can get mad very soon if you don't answer the question."
"You're acting like a teenage girl."
"Well, if the only thing interesting in the next ten thousand years is gonna be my best friend's romance, you bet I'm gonna be acting like a teenage girl, now spill."
"First of all, that's gay, but fine. After Charlotte finished building the house ...."
"No wonder the house looked so good, I wanted to say, there's no way you could build something so nice."
"Screw you, Now as I was saying, after Charlotte finished building the house, she said she was thirsty and invited me for a milkshake in the capital."
"So, she took the initiative to invite you. I think you might just stand a chance, even if she's miles out of your league."
"Once more, screw you."
"But how did you pay for the milkshakes? We haven't made any money yet."
"Oh, apparently, that captain guy gave her some money."
"Why did he do that."
"She asked, saying she would pay him back."
"So, what did you talk about."
"There's no way you're gonna act like a fucking girl. If you want to know, ask Charlotte, she'll be more willing to talk about shit like that."
"Fine, then I'll ask her." Having said that, Devon turned around and flew back.
