And it came the moment he passed the park.
Out of nowhere, multiple white threads shot toward him with incredible speed. Before he could react, an unsettling sensation washed over him—his telekinesis was gone. It felt like an invisible force had shut down a part of his very being, and suddenly, he was falling.
But Raiden wasn't about to go down that easily. Just before the threads reached him, he fired two Psyshock blasts at the ground, using the recoil to launch himself sideways.
He twisted midair, narrowly avoiding the incoming attack.
'Damn… my telekinesis is completely shut off. Of all of my abilities had to be my telekinesis. That means Eraser Head is here—close, he had to be watching me directly.'
He quickly scanned the area and spotted the man walking toward him, about fifteen meters away, his sharp eyes locked onto Raiden.
'There you are.'
Raiden gritted his teeth. "How the hell is he controlling those threads?" he muttered under his breath. It didn't make sense. Aizawa's Quirk was supposed to erase abilities, not give him control over these weird strings.
'Does he have a second Quirk? Or is this some kind of support gear?'
He didn't have time to dwell on it.
He clapped his hands together, activating Swift Attack—but just as he did, his telekinesis returned, and his Swift Attack failed to activate.
His eyes widened. 'Wait… he can selectively disable abilities?'
That was far more advanced than he expected, and now the situation was quite more pressing, he had to adjust the plan he had in mind because of this.
Aizawa wasn't just shutting off his Quirk entirely—he was targeting specific functions, adjusting what Raiden could and couldn't use in real-time.
Aizawa kept moving forward, his expression was unreadable, his face was serious and his eyes didn't blinked.
Before Raiden could form a new plan, a sudden burst of yellow energy shot toward Aizawa at high speed.
Nejire.
She had finally made her move, launching a spiraling wave of energy directly at their teacher. Aizawa reacted instantly, flipping to the side with effortless grace, dodging the attack in midair.
But as he turned his gaze toward Nejire, Raiden realized what was about to happen.
The moment their eyes met, Nejire's body seized up, and in an instant, she plummeted toward the ground. Unlike Raiden, she only had one ability and couldn't rely on any other to stabilize or stop the fall.
She tumbled chaotically through the air, struggling to regain control.
Raiden didn't waste a moment. He reached out with his newly restored telekinesis, catching her before she crashed, gently guiding her down to land safely a few meters away from Aizawa.
He exhaled sharply, eyes darting back to their opponent.
At the same moment he helped Nejire, Raiden flicked his hand twice, sending sixten shimmering star-shaped projectiles hurtling toward Eraser Head. As Raiden already made the attack, Eraser Head couldn't just delete an already formed structure.
Aizawa narrowed his eyes. Dodging was out of the question. The stars adjusted their trajectory midair, he knew that. With no other choice, he lashed out with his capture weapon, the reinforced cloth snapping like a whip against the incoming projectiles.
Each one detonated on impact, bursts of light erupting around him.
Through the flickering flashes, he caught sight of something else—two dark spheres racing toward him, with Raiden closing in fast behind them.
Aizawa's instincts kicked in. He locked eyes with Raiden, attempting to erase his flight ability—but nothing happened. His expression barely flickered, but internally, alarms were going off.
'Why can't I shut him down?'
His gaze immediately shifted upward. Nejire was above him, energy swirling around her as she prepared to unleash an attack. He tried to erase her Quirk, but again—nothing.
'Reverse Card' exclaimed Raiden, clearly to Eraser's head.
Realizing he was out of options, Aizawa moved.
He sidestepped swiftly, twisting midair as his capture cloth shot out. It wrapped around Nejire's leg in an instant, and with a sharp tug, he yanked her downward, aiming to slam her into the ground.
But before she could hit, her descent stopped abruptly. A burst of energy flared around her, enveloping her in a blue light, Raiden stoped her fall with telekinesis, and in the next instant, a glowing tail of spiraling light came streaking straight for his face.
Aizawa tilted his head back, barely avoiding the strike.
Raiden tail passed with great force leaving a gust of wind around.
At the same time, Nejire transformed into a whirling tornado of energy, launching herself at him with incredible speed. The coordinated assault forced the teacher on the defensive, the two students pushing him harder than expected.
As they closed in, Aizawa smirked.
'Not bad… but let's see how long they can keep up.'
Somehow, Eraser Head manipulated the threads around his body, striking the ground with them to propel himself into the air leaving cracks on the ground.
As he leaped into the sky, Nejire and Raiden's attacks collided, sending out a shockwave between them.
Despite the additional weight pressing down on him, his agility remained top-notch—his movements were sharp, precise, and effortlessly fluid, .
it was almost as if he wasn't using weights at all.
Raiden's eyes narrowed. He finally had a full grasp of Eraser Head's speed.
It was unreal. For someone who supposedly didn't have a body-enhancing Quirk, he moved fast, almost as fast as Raiden before a Agility bost.
It was no wonder Aizawa was considered one of the top heroes even outside the top ten.
But now, he was practically chained down. And a restrained hero couldn't keep up with two of the Class 1-A's strongest students.
Raiden activated Agility, pushing his speed even further. The sudden surge in mobility caught Eraser Head off guard.
Before he could react, Raiden was already in front of him, fists glowing with energy.
And he wasn't alone.
Nejire's speed had skyrocketed as well. Small but powerful and concetrated bursts of energy erupted from her feet, propelling her with increased speed, not as Fast as Raiden but still pretty fast for the current Aizawa.
At the same time, waves of spiraling energy radiated around her, forming an unpredictable offensive pattern aimed directly at their teacher.
If that wasn't bad enough, Aizawa still couldn't use his Quirk. And to make things worse, the weight pressing down on him was suddenly increasing—nearly doubling. His muscles strained under the sudden shift.
Raiden's telekinesis had its limits. While he could use it on living beings, there were complications. If the target had enough physical strength, a Quirk that enhanced their resistance, or strong mental fortitude, they could break free.
This meant that telekinesis was only truly effective against people if Raiden was overwhelmingly stronger than them.
Otherwise, it was a situational tool at best.
Objects, however, were an entirely different matter. They had no free will, no instincts to resist. As long as Raiden could handle their weight, they remained completely under his control. The heavier the object, the more effort it took—but in this case, Raiden didn't try to move the weights freely, he just pressed down on them, making them heavier.
Right now, the additional weights he had stacked onto Eraser Head were substantial, making every movement harder for the teacher. Aizawa couldn't simply toss them aside in the middle of a high-speed fight, not when he also had to stay focused on his opponents, and even if he could, that could mean the kids could pass the test automatically.
Meanwhile, Raiden and Nejire had only gotten faster.
Their movements were intense and merciless, forcing Aizawa onto the defensive. At the same time, Raiden had repeatedly used Disable on him, rendering his Quirk useless.
The boy had to admit it was quite satisfactory to see the teacher being defeated by his own power.
With Eraser Head unable to erase their abilities, he was left with only one option—close combat.
Or at least, he could try.
In his opinion, the kids' teamwork was impeccable, their attacks were fluid and in sync.
Every time Aizawa adjusted, they adapted. Every time he countered, they found an opening. Between Raiden's tactical pressure and Nejire's unpredictable energy-based strikes, they left him no room to breathe.
"Eh… these kids really want to beat me fair and square," Aizawa muttered under his breath, blocking a rapid series of strikes. His muscles burned under the combined weight and pressure, but his eyes glinted with something far from frustration.
At this pace, he was going to lose.
And yet, that didn't discourage him.
If anything, it thrilled him.
Their coordination was sharper than that of some pro heroes fresh out of graduation. Their instincts were honed, their teamwork seamless. They had forced him into a corner, and Aizawa appreciated this kind of talent and effort.
A wicked smile crept onto his face.
He might lose, but that didn't matter.
Because right now, they were passing his test with flying colors.
A flurry of close-range strikes rained down on him—some he managed to block, but others slipped through, landing solid hits to his gut and face.
Their teamwork was improving by the second. Raiden's punches forced Aizawa to stay on the defensive, creating openings for Nejire to exploit.
Each impact chipped away at the teacher's stamina, the accumulated blows taking their toll. For a brief moment, Aizawa considered shedding the extra weights just to level the playing field.
But that wasn't an option, He couldn't do something like that.
Raiden continued activating Disable, reducing Aizawa to nothing more than a highly skilled combatant—stripped of his Quirk, he was just another experienced fighter.
Yet even in this state, Aizawa refused to go down easily. His instincts and years of battle-hardened experience allowed him to hold his ground against two opponents who were using their powers to the fullest.
"Six seconds left," Raiden calculated. "After that, he'll get his Quirk back. We have to finish this now. We'll pin him down."
Nejire didn't need further explanation—she nodded immediately, her energy flaring.
Raiden spun midair, his body twisting upward, then extended both hands toward Aizawa. A powerful wave of telekinetic force surged out, crashing into the teacher like an invisible tidal wave. The weight on him multiplied—six times heavier.
The ground beneath Aizawa cracked under the sheer pressure, and his knees buckled. For the first time in the fight, he was forced down.
Yet, even as he knelt, he looked up at them with an unmistakable expression—A smile.
Then, his eyes glowed.
The telekinesis shattered instantly, and it wasn't the only thing it shattered, Raiden telekinesis force shattered one of the weights.
Raiden's heart skipped a beat.
Aizawa moved.
In a blur, he slipped past Nejire's attack and struck her square in the gut. The force sent her flying backward, her breath leaving her in a sharp gasp.
Almost simultaneously, he launched himself at Raiden.
The boy barely had time to react before Aizawa appeared in front of him—too fast, too precise. A devastating high kick lashed out, aimed straight at his head.
Raiden reacted instinctively, unleashing a Shadow Ball at point-blank range.
The dark energy sphere collided with Aizawa's attack, triggering a powerful explosion that sent both of them flying in opposite directions. The force burned part of Aizawa's hand, scorching his sleeve as he tumbled backward.
Before he could recover, multiple glowing yellow energy threads materialized around him, wrapping tightly around his limbs. In an instant, they yanked him downward, slamming him against the ground.
It was a new application of Nejire Quirk, she utilized her power to make resistant energy threads, it needed the perfect timing to be used, mostly because it was a slow technique.
At the same time, Raiden's telekinesis forced Aizawa's head to face the floor, preventing him from activating his Quirk again.
Acting quickly, Raiden manipulated nearby metal scraps, bending them into restraints that wrapped around Aizawa's arms and legs, pinning him completely.
For a moment, everything was still. Then—Aizawa let out a short chuckle, his expression unreadable but not displeased.
"Good job, kids. Both of you pass. Your final exam is over."
Nejire and Raiden exchanged exhausted but triumphant glances. They had done it.
Not only had they passed the final exam—they were now ready for the second semester.
But more importantly?
The holidays were finally here.
