Q: What made you write this story?
A: I don't really know why I wrote this story, but I guess because I was bored? The story is heavily inspired by Arcane on Netflix, everytime I wrote a chapter, some Arcane songs is playing. And also, I guess I'm tired writing fanfics so I guess I think it's time to write a novel of my own.
Q: What is your inspiration for Yuu?
A: Yuu is very complex character, in her design, I used Sakura from Naruto. And her personality is just like Harley Quinn.
Her MBTI is ENTP, she's narcissistic but often feel frustrated.
Honestly, I want her to be more like Harley Quinn or Jinx from arcane, but I think I made her too proud to herself as much as how she hated herself.
Q: Does Lucian like Yuu romantically?
A: No, as stated in his POV, he only see her as a younger sister he never had. And I'm not planning to make their relationship develop romantically, just platonic relationship.
Q: Who is 'her'?
A: Well, 'her' is actually related to Yuu, I don't really want to say it, just remember that 'her' is very important character.
Q: Who is your favorite character?
A: I like to say Yuu but when I'm re-reading the chapters, I get to like Levi (LOL). I don't know, he sounds handsome, to be honest, his name is actually just popped on my mind when I think of a male name, and of course that's because I was AOT fan too.
Q: What app did you use on writing this story?
A: Just the good old Google Keep (LOL). I tried other writing apps to make my timeline and characters organize but I guess that's too complicated for me to use and decided to uninstall it and use the good old note app. Sure it's hard to keep everything in place but it's actually easier for me because sometimes I write on my phone and if I'm in a mood, I write on my laptop.
Q: Who's the strongest character there yet?
A: I guess, it's actually Zack. Y'all expect me to say Warden aren't you? Zack is fallen soldier who faced the abyss before, even though he's a pure human he still survive with his pure strength, but... In terms on using magic, I would say it will be Lucian.
Q: Who among the characters is your Kin?
A: I guess, the Warden. Actually, everything he thinks and do are reflection of what I did in my life. His POVs and his character is reflected on me.
Q: For you, who had the saddest story background?
A: Still the Warden, he grown on me. Despite not being my favorite character, he still have place in my heart. In this book, but if I finished this book and decided publish book 2 (spoiler) it would be Aether Lumier.
Q: What chapter is your favorite?
A: Everything is my favorite, after all I wrote it. But Chapter 15 is the one stood out for me because in that chapter we can see the vulnerability of almost the main characters.
Q: Who's your least favorite character?
A: I don't have a least favorite character, since all of the characters are just reflection of my different personalities. But if I did, it would be Yuu, because she's the manifestation of my life traumas and just every bad traits that I have.
Q: Who do you ship the most?
A: I would like to say, for my head canon (LOL) ship, it would be Levi and Cynthia. And for fanon ship, it would be Lucian and Melrick (LOL). Just kidding, my main ship here is Melrick and Yuu (idk). But will I make their relationship develop romantically? No. If ya'll asking why, I don't know myself since I haven't write Melrick's POV yet.
Q: Will someone die?
A: No, I don't want to my main characters to die, they can only die in old age (maybe). But in this book, I don't want to kill my characters as possible.
