As the cat meowed and hopped around, Jung's unsightly face returned, announcing in a dramatic tone, "I think it's time for me to kick your ass."
"Can you repeat yourself?" Nero asked.
He wanted to do what? Kick her ass?
Yet the boy didn't use his only chance, and he didn't withdraw his words.
"You heard me. I want to fight against you. Why are you so surprised? We both knew this time would come sooner rather than later. And it's a good opportunity to test ourselves."
Jung tried really hard to convince her.
He even used his trademark facial expression and tone, which Nero despised to the core.
Yet she remained calm, and his trap didn't work.
"Nah! I'm good," she said calmly, leaping from the bed.
"Don't tell me…" he deliberately paused and asked in surprise, "You are afraid?"
The cat shook her head in disappointment, locked eyes with Jung, and said, "You're asking for a beating."
"Not that you can do that," Jung ridiculed twofold.
