Her damp hair fell over his face, strands sticking lightly to his skin as the scent of her shampoo filled his senses. It was a familiar smell, something sweet but not overwhelming, something that made him feel like home. He pulled her closer, his lips grazing hers, and he could feel her melt into him.
Nate was sitting on the couch, his back pressed against the soft leather while Madison straddled him. Her weight on him felt right—natural, like she was meant to be there. Alice was somewhere inside, probably still drying her hair, leaving them with this rare moment of privacy.
