"Hey, what's wrong? Just talk to me. Uh, is there any problem, my dear boys? You know, you guys can tell me anything, and I'm ready to help you if you don't mind. So, just talk to me."
[Lefah smiles] "Don't worry about us, Miss Madison. We got this, you can trust us."
"No boys. Even if I don't know you boys well, you can still talk to me because I'm your high school principal. Don't hide anything from me please. Just feel free and talk to me guys."
[Garriso smiles and continues immediately] "Um, you know, it's something different and a little bit difficult to explain to people, to understand what you're going through but can never tell. And the thing is, you know, parents are the same. So, we can't talk to you about it."
[Miss Madison sighs] "Yes, I said the same thing to my grandmother when I was a kid and worried about something which my ma'am caused. I never wanted to explain my worries to my grandmother when I was a little girl. Because I was thinking the same."
[Both sighs] "Okay..."
"But my grandmother told me that I shouldn't worry about my ma'am. Whether my ma'am like disturbing me. She is my mother, and she knows the best about my life. Parents are overprotective sometimes, but it's normal. Trust me boys."
"So, how did you know about our minds and why it happened like that, Miss Principal? "
"Hey, Lefah. Every good mother or parent has this bad attitude towards her kids. Caring, loving, over-protective, worrying and disturbing. All these make a mother. "If your mother doesn't have all these kinds of attitudes, it means she is not a mother. "
"But hey, Miss Madison. We never liked this kind of attitude from our mother. So, why did you just say every good mother has this bad attitude? What makes her a good mother…?"
"You really sound funny Lefah. I don't know why every child loves it when his or her parents are loving and caring, but?"
"Oh, no. You shouldn't add but, Miss Madison. Hey, I'm not joking about this. Like I'm really serious about this, Miss Madison."
"Yeah, and I can read that from your eyes about how serious you guys are. Hey, can I ask you both a question?"
"Yeah, of course, Miss Madison. " [Both]
"Okay, and I really like it when both of you sound together. Hey, do you boys really love your mother so much?"
"Hell no. Are you for real about this funny question, Miss Madison?" [Lefah snickers]
[Garriso continues by saying] "Yes, of course. We really love our mother so much, Miss Madison. "
"Very good answer from you Garriso. I'm really happy that you gave me the exact answer I was expecting from you. You know, every child loves their mother no matter what happens between them. One thing I will ask you boys to do is to keep on loving your mother even when she is wrong. She knows the best for you boys. "
[Both] "Okay Miss Madison. "
"Very good boys." [Miss Madison smiled]
"But you know, there is something I don't understand about our mother. It is that, why does she keep on doing all that, Miss Principal?"
"Um, you know, every good mother is over-productive sometimes. And it's because of the love, care, moral support, and more to show us a mother. "To be a mother is not just normal work for any woman, even if she can give birth."
[Both sighs]
"Hmm, I know you boys will misunderstand me, but I'm telling you the truth. So, trust me, nothing like lies, kids."
"Hey, we trust you, Miss Madison, and we understand." [Garriso giggles]
"Thanks for understanding me, but you know, I will talk to Miss Anna about it. So, don't worry, but one thing you boys should put in mind is that your mother really loves you, boys a lot. That's why she is doing all that."
[Both giggle] "Okay Miss Principal."
"Um, okay. Hey, I think we have walked a lot and, you know, I think we should go back home. And maybe Miss Anna will be home by now. What do you boys think?"
"Oh no, nope Miss. Let's have more fun outside Miss Principal. And we haven't taken you to where we usually play our football. "
"Yeah, Lefah is right, Miss Madison. Let's have more fun with you please. "
"Oh okay, it's fun. So, where do you boys want us to go again? You know, when I was staying around with my family, Mom and dad never allowed us to go outside or play with friends, and we were always in the house having fun with my brothers. Because I wasn't used to being outside, it made me not to know this place well. Yeah, I stayed here back in the 90s, but I don't remember any place here."
"Oh, I see. Um, you know, rich people easily forget about their past. "Or is that not what I am thinking, Miss?" [Garriso smiles]
"Hey, not that Garriso, stops it. The past was the beginning of my life. So, I will never forget memories of the 90s. I mean good moments can never be forgettable. But my bad moments, I don't even remember for sure."
"Why, Miss Madison." [Garriso giggles]
"Mm--hmm, I don't need it to be remembered. That's all Garriso. "
"Oh, I see... But you know, that's cool Miss."
"Yeah, I was once told about this. So, tell us more about the good time you and your family spent together when you people were staying in this city. "
"Uh, you know. Like I said earlier, I wish I could remember a lot about this city, but you know, that was many years back. Hmm, I remember my mother had a friend called Miss Maya. Um, those days, she used to come to our house. That was how I got to know Miss Maya, my mom's friend. Yeah, she was called, Miss Maya, I don't know if you boys know her."
