Midoriya Izuku said seriously.
"I have no signal on my phone. Looks like all communication systems have been jammed."
Iida Tenya checked his phone and spoke in a low voice.
"The elevators aren't working either."
Jiro Kyoka reported.
"No way… I just came here to relax after my finals. How did I end up in an enemy attack? Hasn't I-Island always been safe?"
Mineta muttered nervously.
Melissa rubbed her chin, thinking.
"They only found bombs, but they still activated the highest security alert?"
"Could it be that something else is going on besides the bombs?"
Yaoyorozu Momo shared her thoughts.
"Hmm… good point. All Might is in the main hall, but there's no sound of fighting. Does that mean the enemy hasn't made a move yet?"
Iida Tenya said in a serious tone.
"Melissa, take us to the hotel lobby first."
Midoriya Izuku suggested.
"If we take the emergency stairs, we can reach the banquet hall quickly."
Melissa replied.
With their next move decided, Melissa led the group toward the emergency stairwell.
When they reached the top, they quickly realized something was very wrong.
Everyone in the hall had been taken hostage.
Even All Might was lying on the ground, restrained by something.
"No way… Even All Might got caught?"
Mineta's face went pale. He was completely panicking, his whole body trembling.
"Shut up. There's no way All Might would just lie there calmly if he was actually captured. It's obvious—he must be under some kind of threat."
Ezaki Kitazawa said in a low voice.
"All Might saw us. Can we connect to him?"
Midoriya Izuku turned to Jiro Kyoka.
"Yes!"
Jiro Kyoka confirmed.
"You can talk now, All Might. We're listening."
Midoriya Izuku spoke softly.
"The enemy has taken over the central tower and seized control of I-Island's security system. Everyone on the island is now their hostage. Even the heroes here have been subdued.
It's extremely dangerous. You must leave as soon as possible."
All Might spoke in a low voice, his face pressed to the floor.
Hearing this, Jiro Kyoka's pupils shrank in shock.
"This is bad! Everyone!"
"We should retreat for now and go back to where we were before."
Ezaki Kitazawa said seriously.
"Agreed!"
Everyone nodded and quietly started moving back.
Once they returned to their previous location, Jiro Kyoka relayed everything she had heard from All Might.
"I think we should follow All Might's advice and get off this island as soon as possible."
Iida Tenya stiffly said, "I agree!"
Mineta immediately followed up, "So, does this mean we should escape and call for help?"
Kaminari sighed and said, "Call for help? Didn't Jiro just say that everyone on the island has already been taken hostage? Even if we find someone, wouldn't things still be the same as they are now?"
Ezaki Kitazawa nodded. "Yeah, that makes sense!"
After nearly five minutes of discussion—going from escape to waiting for rescue—the conversation eventually turned into a rescue mission.
"The security system of I-Island is located at the very top of this tower. If the enemy has already taken control of the system, then they've probably disabled the ID verification and password locks too."
"We could manually restart the security system. If we sneak past the enemies without being noticed and reach the top floor, we might be able to save everyone."
Melissa explained, "But if we want to avoid getting caught, how should we do it?"
Yaoyorozu pondered, "We haven't been attacked yet, which means the enemy still isn't completely familiar with the security system."
Melissa continued, "So we just need to avoid fighting and focus on restoring the system, right?"
Todoroki, who had been silent the whole time, finally spoke up. "Exactly!"
"Once the system is back online, we can rescue All Might and the other hostages on the island. At that point, we'll completely turn the situation around. Right now, this is our only option."
Ezaki Kitazawa calmly said, "Since we've decided, there's no time to waste. Let's go!"
Todoroki nodded. "Alright!"
Everyone responded in agreement and started running.
As they ran, Ezaki Kitazawa curiously asked Melissa, "How many floors does this building have?"
"Two hundred!"
Ezaki Kitazawa nearly cursed out loud. "Two hundred floors?! Are you kidding me? Running up all that on foot? My legs are gonna give out!"
Kaminari's face froze. "I feel like... I might die from exhaustion before the enemy even gets me."
