Chapter 272 - Chapter 272: Just Bring Them Over

Tights deeply understood how sharp Yamiru's senses were when he became serious. Even through the bathroom door, she could hear the sound of her clothes quietly falling to the ground.

Standing next to her, Yamiru could hear what Bulma was saying on the phone, and Tights wasn't surprised at all. However, she was curious about one thing: when Yamiru said "I see," what did he mean by "I see"?

"I remember when Uncle Bardock and Aunt Gine were still in their soul forms, following us to collect the Dragon Balls, he was already paying attention to how to use the Dragon Radar," Yamiru said, seeing the curiosity in Tights's eyes. He shook his head and sighed, "He probably started planning to collect the Dragon Balls back then. But we weren't very familiar with each other at that time, so he didn't bring it up..."

There were things that didn't sound too good if spoken aloud, like... Bardock, who had just been revived, didn't touch the Dragon Balls because he didn't want to appear "out of control" in front of Yamiru and the others?

"So, that's what happened," Tights murmured.

At that time, even though they had Spiritual glasses that allowed them to see the soul forms of Bardock and Gine, they didn't wear them all the time. It was likely only Yamiru, with his sharp eyes, who noticed these small details.

"Do you want to come and see?" Bulma said on the other end of the phone. "Yamiru seems to be quite interested in Super Saiyans, right? Now, there's a living, breathing Super Saiyan here."

"This..." Tights hesitated. She turned her head and saw Yamiru nodding, then she responded into the phone, "Alright! Bulma, take us to West City through the Spiritual Realm."

"OK~" Bulma cheerfully responded and quickly hung up the phone.

Yamiru took Tights's hand. Under the dark night sky, their figures quickly disappeared into the air.

Upon arriving in the Spiritual Realm, they found a Capsule House on "Earth Island." Bulma was already waiting there and waved at Yamiru and Tights as they appeared.

"Sis~" Bulma jogged over and hugged Tights around the waist.

Tights ruffled her younger sister's hair.

Bulma, leaning against Tights's flat stomach, turned her face to see Yamiru smiling and waving at them.

"Let's go~"

Bulma released her hold on Tights's waist, then grabbed both Tights and Yamiru's hands, guiding them as they left the Spiritual Realm once again.

When they reappeared in the physical world, they were in Bulma's room in West City.

Yamiru immediately saw the imposing figure of the Dragon outside the window, radiating pressure.

He opened the window, and with a swift motion, Yamiru grabbed both sisters and flew out using his flight technique. As they soared higher, they could easily see a few figures below the Dragon in the courtyard. The figure standing at the very front was undoubtedly the most eye-catching— a true Super Saiyan! Yamiru felt a shock deep in his heart, stirred with excitement.

This is... the Super Saiyan!

"Hm?" Gine was the first to sense the aura in the sky behind them. Turning around, she saw Tights, held by Yamiru, waving at the people on the ground. On the other side, Bulma was looking around curiously, probably for the first time flying like this and finding it quite novel. Gine and the Briefs, who had also noticed, waved back at Tights and them.

Once Tights landed, she exclaimed, "So this is a Super Saiyan! Their hair turns golden."

"Isn't it cool?" Mrs. Brief giggled.

"Well..." Tights bit her lip and glanced at her boyfriend standing nearby. Then, in a deliberately loud voice, she said, "It's just okay, I guess!"

"Am I that petty?" Yamiru replied, not having it, and gave Tights a playful rub on her head. "This Super Saiyan form is definitely cool!"

"Ah, my hair's all messy!" Tights bumped her head into Yamiru's chest. Of course, it didn't hurt him at all.

Mrs. Brief chuckled lightly.

Over at the side, Bardock seemed somewhat serious, unsure of what the Dragon had said to him.

"So," Yamiru, with his arm around Tights's shoulder, looked around and asked Gine and Dr. Brief, "What did Uncle Bardock wish for?"

Dr. Brief, holding a cigarette, shook his head and said, "He hasn't made a wish yet."

Mrs. Brief added, "Before making his wish, Bardock asked the Dragon a few questions."

Tights burst out laughing the moment she heard it.

Yamiru was a little puzzled. What was so funny? But as soon as he showed his confusion, Tights laughed even harder.

At this point, it was Gine who kindly explained it to Yamiru and Bulma, who also didn't get it at first. Yamiru then realized that Bardock had wanted to collect the Dragon Balls to bring his son, Raditz, over from under Vegeta's command on another part of the universe to Earth.

Thinking about it, even though Son Goku seemed more like a biological son than Raditz, Bardock and Gine had no reason to be biased.

Since Earth had Dragon Balls, such a convenient tool, it didn't make sense to leave another biological son out there to survive alone in the cold universe... Well, Bardock himself probably didn't mind. Even without considering the "cold, heartless Saiyan" stereotype, Bardock was an elite warrior who had grown up under harsh conditions, and perhaps he thought Raditz's current situation in the universe was a trial for him. But Gine definitely didn't think that way.

Gine, after all, could ride the Flying Nimbus and was even considered by the Earth's gods as a potential candidate for taking on the role of a deity! Her pure heart was a testament to her nature. Not to mention, she was Raditz's biological mother. When they were on Planet Vegeta, all the Saiyans lived that way, and it was tolerable to just pray that Raditz would be strong and lucky enough. But now, having come to understand and accept Earth's more comfortable and promising environment, Gine couldn't see any reason not to bring her other son to Earth as well.

"Sorry for causing trouble for everyone..." Gine said. "Raditz might have a bit of a bad temper, but he'll definitely improve after living on Earth for a while. Bardock and I will keep a close eye on him…"

Yamiru wanted to say something indifferent, but what could he say? Raditz should be around the same age as Vegeta, which meant he was probably about the same age as Bulma. He glanced over at the 13-year-old Bulma, thinking that in the manga, Raditz's combat power as an adult was 1500! Even though Raditz was only twelve or thirteen now, his combat power would be much weaker, but if thrown onto Earth, he'd still probably be invincible. 1000? 800 or 900? 600 or 700? Even if he only had 400 or 500, or even 300, he'd still be able to dominate most of Earth's top martial artists. After all, in the manga, King Piccolo's power was around that level, and he almost wiped out the main characters.

Dr. Brief casually said, "Since Bardock is already a Super Saiyan, there's no problem, right?"

"By the way, what did the Dragon say about Freeza?" Yamiru quickly asked. Did Golden Freeza really exist? Was it even possible?

Bardock, standing with his back to them, slowly said, "The Dragon said that Freeza does indeed possess potential that is comparable to a true Saiyan's… true potential." He turned slightly and spoke in a deep voice, "However, Freeza hasn't yet developed the mindset to match that potential." It was easy to understand. Freeza, who had been born with unbeatable strength, never really had to work as a warrior. His identity was that of a king, a ruler, a punisher, a judge, always standing high above the others. How could someone like him have the kind of mindset that Bardock, a warrior who fought his way up from the bottom, had? But from what the Dragon said, it seemed that if Freeza ever became a true warrior, his strength could become even more terrifying.

Could "potential not inferior to a true Saiyan's" be possible?

Did the Dragon make this judgment even knowing that the Super Saiyan God existed?

Bardock's heart grew heavy.

But in the end, he looked up and made his wish to the Dragon, "My wish is to bring my other Saiyan son, Raditz, from the other side of the universe to Earth."

He paused and added, "No need for clothes, just the person will do."
