It's 4 in the morning but I don't know why it feel like I haven't spent much time with Wellesley' I thought and Braska had given me 3 days, today is the fourth day, 'So what? I wasn't answerable to him' as soon as this thought came to my head I couldn't help but chuckle at it's ridiculousness, this world is affecting my head, and the prince character is getting into my head. Usually this was something only prince could say, but this time it was actually me and these days I don't hear much from him either I wonder what's happening.
Leaving that unpleasant thought at bay my head turned to think something useful, If I leave this moment, then it will at least take an hour. I can sleep for 2 hours ones I enter the clan not like they are waiting to see me early in the morning. At least I hoped it would be the case, shrugging my shoulders at that scary thoughts I continued the journey.
When I reached the clan, it was already morning. It must have been 5:00 in the morning and it seemed like the clan leader was waiting for me as he seemed too eager to welcome me, his looks were saying he was too excited about something.
If I had seen his excitement at some other time then I might have enquired him on what was happening, but Today I was too tired to reciprocate or mirror his excitement , so pretending I didn't notice his overly enthusiastic behaviour, I pointed towards Arslan and said, "this is my guy and you should take good care of him. He needs to rest , so show him a room."
Arslan face showed his skepticism, I could tell his thoughts just by seeing his face and immediately addressing the issue I said "this is safe",
Arslan as usually understood my intentions with just one word and stood still ready to follow the others, he wasn't one to ask questions before others and the clan leader seemed interested in saying something and started, "Do you.. "
But after finishing my talk, I walked away, not even pertaining to listen to his blabbering, making my way to the room, that was allocated to me during my last trip and entering it, I found myself stumbling and barely dragging my tierd body towards the bed before falling on it, drifted off to sleep.
I was exhausted after not sleeping for 2 days and was sleeping so deeply that I wasn't sure of my capabilities to resist a sudden ambush. If I had been in someone else's territory, I couldn't have slept with such ease, knowing prince's personality I was more sure of it, he definitely wouldn't have let me off the hook, but now there was an agreement between the clan and me. According to which they were responsible for my safety. So I slept like a log and I don't know after how many hours I woke-up, rather woken up.
My vision was blurry, but I could see the clear figure of Braska the clan leader standing before me, rubbing my eyes and seeing him smiling fondly at me, as if I were some treasure, now no offence here, I wasn't one too discriminate between man and woman , but seeing a man smiling at me, and that too early in the morning standing before my bed was giving me creeps.
Not reciprocating his happiness and frowning at his face , I asked, "what's the matter?Why are You smiling like a fool early in the morning"
Braska didn't seem to mind my rude words, rather his smile widened as if he was dying to hear me, question him and said "because the winner of this competition is someone I truly adore and I am excited to see you in action as well"
raising from the bed, stretching my stiff body lazily, not even trying to mask my lack of enthusiasm , I said "Well, well, that's good, today you're going to see someone you truly adore being beaten in her own game"
Braskar raised an eyebrow at my answer and cautioned me saying, "Prince. You do know that the girls in this clan are no ordinary? Don't you? I am the clan leader only because I am stronger compared to the other males not because I am stronger than other females".
Picking up new clothes from my bag and changing into them. I answered , "yeah , I know and I do know that the girls in your clan are far more stronger than some of the strongest army on the continent, But you don't have to worry worry about that, cause I am stronger than you think".
Shrugging his shoulders and my answer, he said "If you are that, then I am too excited to see this Battle"
Wearing my battle gear and taking my sword I questioned. "By the way, who is my opponent for the day?"
His answer rather came immediately and he said "it's mia"
I was analysing the condition of my sword. When I heard that and it left me surprised turning to him, I immediately asked. "Is it the mia, mia you are talking about I mean the one who was with you on the day met?"
'Mia, that girl is tough. After all , she is the future sister of our protagonist.' I thought,
Braska smiling at my question and said,, "yes, the same girl, For your information she is the strongest in our tribe and yeah, you not going to have it easy, so you better be careful if you don't want to lose your limb that is."

I said fully donning my attire.
