Darren's POV
The room we appeared in was a storage space of an abandoned department store. We walked through the back door, staying hidden in the alley for a short while.
My eyes wandered the corner of the street I could see, observing people walk past. It was going to be near impossible to pass the streets without people questioning a man with an unconscious woman on his shoulder.
I could easily compel each of them, but I would be losing time. I wasn't ready for any extra hassle. No need for more trouble especially now that I was in foreign territory.
New Orleans was the one place that the witches had claimed and it was a rule that no other Triform member could come in uninvited. I was trespassing. And although I didn't care for the consequences, I didn't want them to come before I could make it to the witches' coven.
