Chapter 160 - Express his feelings

Radulf leaned back in his chair, his fingers tapping against the armrest. "Leon is investigating Sylvan's death."

Savio exhaled, crossing his arms. "Sylvan left behind two kids and a wife," he reminded him.

"I don't regret killing him because those letters should have come to me. For some money, he sold his honesty," he admitted. "Does that make me a monster?"

Savio met his gaze. "Maybe a monster in the eyes of his family," he replied. "They don't know it was you, but once Leon realizes the letters are missing, everything will come to light."

Radulf's frown deepened. The weight of his actions didn't shake him. He had done what needed to be done. But he knew Savio was right. It was only a matter of time before the truth caught up with him.

Radulf leaned back, a smirk playing on his lips. "But Leon will never confront me," he said with certainty.
