Leon returned to the palace, heading straight to his chamber for a moment of rest. But as he stepped inside, he found Nina already waiting for him.
"Is everything alright with Zenna?" she asked, rising to her feet with a worried gaze.
Leon exhaled slowly. "You heard about it too?"
"Yes," Nina confirmed with a frown on her forehead. "They say Zenna tried to kill the Alpha King. But that's impossible. She's not powerful enough to even attempt something like that. And she can never do that. And now, Radulf has challenged the Alpha King. What will happen? I heard that his parents were sentenced to death for treason against the Alpha King in the past."
Leon sighed. "I have no idea. I haven't spoken to Father yet, so I don't know what he's in his mind."
Leon hesitated before asking, "Are you concerned for Radulf?"
