Lucky and Traven met Jacob and Amanda in the hallway, where they met their escorts, several "men in black," as Traven had taken to calling them. They were headed for the Oval Office, and Lucky was nervous as she could be. Traven and Jacob were both in great spirits.
Lucky fell in to step next to Amanda. She was looking forward to getting to know her better. She noticed the mark on her neck, and sure enough, Jacob had one as well. As long as he had waited, she supposed they hadn't wanted to waste any more time. She wasn't sure of Amanda's age, but guessed she was in her early thirties based on her position as the president's press secretary.
"What are you smiling about, kid?" Jacob asked Traven, knowing full well the two of them were both happy for the same reason.
"I had a nice bath this morning," Traven replied nonchalantly, and the two men high fived each other. "Nice mark," he commented, and Jacob's grin got even bigger.
