Demus quickly glanced at Sabrina, who shrugged her shoulders, she had no idea what to do when it came to dealing with humans. Demus glanced at Lucky, his expression a mix of concern and determination. "Stay calm," he whispered to Lucky as he subtly adjusted the controls of the vehicle to keep it ready to defend if necessary.
The spikes that had kept it anchored in the ground began to wind their way back in to the vehicle.
Chad had come alone, as he was the only one working anywhere near the area. He had seen the massive tornado, and when he called his boss, he told him to go check it out. Apparently there were no weather experiments on the schedule for today.
He had grabbed his gun, laughing at himself for doing it. What was he going to do, shoot the tornado? It seemed to be gone now anyway, leaving behind this alien looking vehicle with a few people inside. Or maybe aliens. You never knew.
