Sabrina rushed into the room, assessing the situation. After a brief discussion with the healer, she turned and faced Traven, determination etched in to every line on her face.
Lucky had lost consciousness, exhausted from the massive amount of power she had used fending off the hunters. Traven was still alive, but barely. On one side of him, Lucky was pressed against his side, with Baby Girl curled up against her stomach. The puppy looked at Sabrina and gave a soft whimper.
Flappy had his head on Traven's shoulder, his brown eyes full of fear and sadness. Sabrina felt tears stream down her face, and she said a silent prayer of her own to the Moon Goddess. Her eyes widened as she detected something else in the energy coming off of Lucky.
