Killer Bee had a gaping hole in his abdomen from Sora's attack.
Killer A immediately launched a counter-attack against Sora, then grabbed Killer Bee and retreated to a safe distance while Sora was busy dodging.
"Bee! Are you alright?" Killer A asked with concern.
"Brother, I'm fine..." Killer Bee removed his hand from the wound on his abdomen.
The injury had almost completely healed on its own, thanks to the Eight-Tails' power.
Killer A sighed with relief but immediately tensed again. He had to admit that even with their combined strength, he and Killer Bee were no match for Sora.
As long as they couldn't figure out why their jutsu kept failing near their opponent, there was no doubt they would lose this battle.
"It must be a special ability of the Mangekyō Sharingan," Killer A thought.
As the heir to the Raikage position, Killer A was familiar with the limits and secret techniques of the bloodline abilities known to each hidden village. The Sharingan of the Uchiha clan was naturally among them.
However, information about the Mangekyō Sharingan's abilities was extremely limited. It seemed that before Sora, only Madara Uchiha and his younger brother Izuna Uchiha had awakened this advanced form.
According to the records, the Mangekyō Sharingan would grant its user two special visual abilities and unlock a mysterious third power.
There was insufficient intel on Sora's Mangekyō Sharingan specifically, but since jutsu dissipated inexplicably when getting close to him, taijutsu appeared to be their only option.
"Bee," Killer A said, "our jutsu fails when we get within a certain distance of him. Let's use that move and rely on our physical chakra push. Even if the jutsu fails, the momentum from our chakra will remain!"
Killer Bee nodded solemnly. "I understand!"
Killer A used his Lightning Body Flicker technique to appear behind Sora.
He reactivated his strongest Lightning Style Armor while Killer Bee increased the number of tails in his Tailed Beast cloak to three.
"Double Lariat!" Killer A and Killer Bee shouted in unison.
They both executed the Lariat technique simultaneously, rushing toward Sora with pure physical speed.
The Mangekyō Sharingan in Sora's right eye spun wildly. His visual technique, "Bujian Yue," continuously recorded the jutsu released by Killer A and Killer Bee.
Because of the chakra released by Killer Bee's Tailed Beast transformation, the recording process of "Bujian Yue" accelerated rapidly.
Now it was just moments away from completing its recording and unleashing its second stage.
Killer A and Killer Bee were just one step away from Sora, both raising their arms with the intention of using their powerful forearms to decapitate Sora in a scissor-like motion.
At that moment, the chakra surrounding Killer A and Killer Bee was rejected by Sora's left eye Mangekyō Sharingan ability, "Wanji." Simultaneously, his right eye's "Bujian Yue" technique reached its recording limit.
The corners of Sora's mouth curved upward.
It was over.
"Bujian Yue: Return!"
With Sora at the center, powerful and violent chakra erupted from his body.
The force of the explosion hit Killer A and Killer Bee directly.
A devastating shockwave swept outward in all directions. The surrounding trees toppled instantly from the impact.
Even the seven Konoha shinobi who were hiding far away were blown backward by the force.
After a while, the aftermath of Sora's attack finally subsided. A large area around him had been razed to the ground, leaving nothing but devastation.
Sora breathed heavily, covering his right eye tightly with his hand.
After releasing "Bujian Yue: Return," his eye throbbed with excruciating pain.
The power of "Bujian Yue" had exceeded Sora's expectations, proving several times more potent than any of his other techniques.
But this was to be expected. The prerequisites for using "Bujian Yue" were quite demanding—it needed to record jutsu to its limit before it could be unleashed.
The drawbacks were also obvious. Sora's right eye was now tightly closed, temporarily unable to use the Sharingan on that side.
Scanning the area with his left eye, Sora spotted Killer A and Killer Bee lying motionless on the ground not far away.
He approached them with a frown. Both looked in terrible condition—their bodies were mangled beyond recognition. They appeared dead, with no sign of life remaining.
Suddenly, Sora pointed his ninja sword at the 'bodies' of the two men.
"Thunder Breath: Fifth Form: World Scorching Thunder!"
Sora released high-temperature lightning slashes that bombarded their corpses.
The bodies of Killer A and Killer Bee morphed and transformed into octopus tentacles.
"A Transformation Jutsu, as I suspected."
Even Sora's Mangekyō Sharingan couldn't distinguish the transformed octopus tentacles from the real Killer A and Killer Bee.
What had seemed off to Sora was that Killer A and Killer Bee had attacked him from different directions. If his omnidirectional attack had knocked them both away, they should have landed in different locations, not side by side.
Sora pushed aside the octopus tentacles to reveal a hole beneath them. It appeared that Killer A and Killer Bee had dug an escape route.
Still, the attack should have been powerful enough to kill them both, even if they had started to escape.
Sora had no intention of pursuing them further. After all, his mission wasn't actually to kill them but to stop their advance.
Killer A was the son of the Third Raikage, and Killer Bee was the Eight-Tails Jinchūriki. The death of either would certainly provoke the Hidden Cloud Village into an all-out war against Konoha.
Sora had completed his mission successfully.
He sheathed his ninja sword and exhaled deeply. Taking out a blank scroll, Sora sealed the octopus tentacles inside it before turning to leave.
As he passed by the seven Konoha shinobi, they looked at him with a mixture of admiration and fear.
Admiration because the strength Sora had just displayed was extraordinary. The Blue Lightning Killer A, son of the Third Raikage, and Killer Bee, the Eight-Tails Jinchūriki, could only flee when confronted by Sora's power.
Fear because Sora was not only incredibly strong but also frighteningly cold. His expression always seemed to say, "Disobey me, and I'll kill you," which made them afraid to even speak to him.
Sora ignored the seven ninjas and continued on his way.
Meanwhile, some distance away, Killer Bee emerged from underground with Killer A on his back and began running as fast as possible.
Blood continually flowed from Killer A's mouth. His right chest and arm were soaked in blood, indicating extremely serious injuries.
Killer Bee was in slightly better condition, though not by much. Thanks to the self-healing ability granted by being a Jinchūriki, his body was gradually recovering on its own.
"Brother, you have to hold on!" Killer Bee said anxiously. "I'll get you back to base for treatment right away. Just hang in there!"
Killer A spoke weakly, "Don't worry, Bee. I won't die. Thanks to you, when the explosion happened, you had the Eight-Tails use its tentacles to shield me, absorbing a large portion of the damage. Otherwise..."
He coughed before continuing solemnly, "I never expected Sora to be so powerful—with greater speed and strength than me, not to mention those strange abilities..."
"Bee, he will be a formidable enemy for us in the future."
