"Azuri–!"
"You two seem to be pretty well acquainted, good. We need your cooperation for this next dungeon room."
"Hey, which one of these are the–"
Dante inspected the materia once more. Their crystalline jewel-like appearance looked familiar until he realized these looked like the same jewels that Azuri dropped from before when they bumped into one another at the dorm. He looked at her as she took the materia from his hand and inspected it.
"This one is a silver ranked materia, our total count comes up to…"
"6 copper, 3 silver, and 0 gold so far. We're making good progress!" Nolan said as he rushed over to collect the materia from them. Jarrett followed behind, scoffing at his activeness.
"We're making good progress, if we stick to the plan…everything should be–"
"...GRAAAAAAAH!!!"
Rumblings came from deep within the dungeons walls, causing the floor to shake quickly. The group began to stumble as the rumbling only got more violent. Everyone began to balance themselves as the shaking continued, looking amongst one another.
"What the hell is that!?" Jarrett yelled, he'd fallen on one knee, trying to adjust himself to the current situation at hand. Nolan began to rise from the ground as a bead of sweat dropped from his face.
"I'm not sure…there shouldn't be something that loud approaching…!"
Iris tripped and almost fell to the ground trying to catch herself, but instead ended up falling into Dante who was able to stand firmly. Shocked at this revelation, she clung onto his cloak to gain her balance back. His eyes focused down the dungeon walls. He sniffed the air and stared intensely, as if he could sense something was coming. His grip tightened on his sword as Azuri starred in the direction as well, floating to make sure she'd be unaffected by the tremors.
"Whatever is coming, we need to be careful." Dante said, unsure of what it could possibly be, but slowly preparing to face whatever it was. Azuri nudged Dante on the shoulder as she pointed in a direction down the way. Showing there were more than one pathways as he nodded and motioned for the others to follow. They agreed as they began to track their way to the other entrance, avoiding the direction of said screams.
Iris, worried about what could possibly be waiting, began to mutter as she tried to calm herself from the possibilities of what it could be. Her grip tensed on his cloak as she walked behind him and the others.
"There's no way something that loud could be here…right? It's just a trick, yeah it has to be to slow us down. What could possibly cause such a ruckus…has to be sound magic. Yeah that's it!" She whispered to herself as they continued on their way, making sure to follow Azuri's orders. Dante felt her tug on his cloak, but chose to ignore it in the moment.
