Chapter 98 - 97. Eola

Chapter 97

Evening came, and I, as a good housewife, managed to cook a delicious dinner for two. Saeko, although she bragged about how she wasn't tired during the night, nevertheless slept through the whole time like a log, and now, to finally let her sleep go, I had to make coffee.

- Should we wait until they come for us or go ourselves once we finish dinner? - Saeko asked, taking a sip of aromatic coffee.

- I think it's worth waiting, it could still happen that we miss the one who was sent after us and that won't be very pleasant.

"Okay," the girl nodded.

"Knock-knock"

- Oh, remember the sun, here is a ray. - I grinned, heading towards the front door, and there Eola was waiting for me on the threshold.

- Knight of the Ordo Favonius, member of the reconnaissance squad, Knight Seafoam Eola Lawrence greets you. - The girl greeted formally. - The Master sent me to accompany you to the headquarters of the order.

Eola is a fair-skinned girl with slightly short, blue hair and small white strands. She has a black bandage between her hair. Her eyes are purple with a transition to yellow. She has a blue tie with gold inserts on her neck. From her shoulder goes a cloak with a smooth transition from light blue to bluish, with also dark blue and gold inserts. On her right shoulder, the cloak holds the cryo eye of God. Her costume consists of a white blouse, smoothly flowing into black shorts. The sleeves have a white and blue pattern at the bottom. The back of the gloves is black, and the inside is blue. On her feet, she has rather long black boots with heels.

- And I greet you knight Eola Lawrence, I am Fischl Luftschloss Narfidort, you can call me simply Amy. - I answered, smiling friendly, which seemed to surprise the girl, who seemed to have gotten used to how people become hostile from the mere mention of her last name.

- Please come in, no need to stand at the threshold. - I invited the girl inside and seeing that she wanted to object, I added. - We literally need a minute to get ready.

"Okay," the girl softened and accepted my invitation.

Honestly, looking at Eola, I couldn't help but linger a couple of glances at her gorgeous bare thighs and toned butt, which many would undoubtedly describe as ideal.

Entering the kitchen, we saw that Saeko had already managed to put all the dishes in the sink and the remaining food in the refrigerator.

- Saeko, let me introduce you to the knight of the Ordo Favonius, Eola Lawrence.

- Eola, this is my friend, Saeko Busujima.

"Nice to meet you," Saeko bowed in greeting.

- Likewise.

- Well, now we've met, and now you can go get ready, and I'll sort out the dishes.

- Okay, - the Japanese woman nodded and quickly headed towards the bathroom, after all, as a girl, she wanted to put on some makeup before going out.

Well, I dealt with the dishes in the fastest and laziest way. Just one touch to the plate using the cleaning, and it literally sparkles with cleanliness.

"That's… convenient," Eola said with a little admiration in her tone.

- Oh, there's a lot you haven't seen yet, - I answered proudly. - And if the master allows, I think I can try to teach you the same.

- Really? - the girl asked incredulously.

- Of course, - I nodded, and then hesitated slightly. - True, I haven't tried to transfer this power to anyone yet, but I think there shouldn't be any problems.

- Actually, it would be very useful, but you shouldn't play with me, because I will definitely take revenge. - the girl admitted slightly enthusiastically, and if you remember that she has to spend most of her time in, essentially, the wild nature because of people's prejudices towards her last name, then for her this skill will be a very strong relief in everyday life.

- Of course it is useful, because in addition to cleaning the dishes, the body will also always be clean and you can even eliminate poisons and pollution from the abyss.

- And you are ready to share something like that with me, the daughter of the Lawrence clan? - it was clearly visible how confused the girl was, after all, there were literally only a few people who would treat her normally and without prejudice, and what's more, even merchants refused to sell her food because of her last name.

- Don't worry, although I must admit that there are some truly disgusting individuals in your family, but I know very well that you are different and, unlike the rest of your relatives, you are trying to restore trust in your clan.

"I… You are insulting the Lawrence clan, and I will definitely take revenge." It was quite funny to watch her talk about revenge with her cheeks flushed from embarrassment, and to be honest, when she looks like that, these words are perceived more like a promise to give a reward.

"I'm ready!" Saeko shouted to us as she came out of the bath.

- In that case, shall we go? - I asked Eola with a smile.

"Yes," the knight nodded and headed for the exit.

As we walked, we could see how passersby periodically cast sideways glances at the girl accompanying us. Saeko was clearly interested in the reason for this, but fearing that she might accidentally touch a raw nerve with Eola, she decided to remain silent and wait until she could find out about it from me.

And literally a few minutes later, we arrived at the office of the Master of the Ordo Favonius.

- And here are the stars of this day, - Varka drew our attention before turning to Eole, pointing to a chair at the table that was clearly set out for dinner. - Thank you for bringing them, sit down, what we will discuss will be related to your next task.

"Okay," Eola accepted calmly, not trying to act formally, since the master had immediately made it clear that the discussion would be informal, and sat down on the offered chair with a high back.

- Sit down, it's much more pleasant to have a conversation over a cup of aromatic tea, - Lisa, who was sitting next to Jeanne, addressed us.

"Okay," I nodded and Saeko and I sat down opposite the master.

- I must admit, you have pleased me, - Varka began. - What you did last night was simply beyond all praise, especially saving Dvalin and the subsequent cleansing of the Order of the Abyss.

- The Dragon of the East informed us of all the places where the cleansing took place and you did a simply colossal job.

- Actually, I did almost nothing, it was Amy who purified the dragon. - The Japanese woman was embarrassed.

- No need to downplay your achievements, after all, it was you who cleared out most of the camps. - I rolled my eyes at such modesty.

- I completely agree with you, princess, and now, since I think you yourself have noticed that there is no need to tell us anything, since the dragon has already taken care of this, let us move on to the other purpose of my request for you to come. I would like to offer you the title of honorary knights of the Ordo Favonius.
