Yan Huan picked up the exquisitely crafted fabric pouch from the desk and handed it to Ye Shiyu beside him for inspection.
Ye Shiyu took it, looked it over, and then nodded.
But since she didn't speak, Yan Huan kept looking at her, so after a pause, she finally opened her mouth to comment,
"It looks good..."
Only then did Yan Huan look away, casually asking,
"Aren't you going to sign your name, Sister Shiyu?"

At his words, Ye Shiyu did not focus on the small fabric pouch in hand but gazed instead at the profile of Yan Huan's face.
Her eyes wandered over his exposed neck and Adam's apple between the collar of his shirt, searching as if for an open spot.
