Early the next morning, as usual the clinic had just opened its doors.
Just after ten o'clock, Maria Carter ran into the small clinic with a look of panic on her face.
"My friend has broken a bone, come with me quickly."
Emily Parker grabbed a first-aid kit and headed towards City First Middle School.
Maria Carter led Emily Parker around to the back door, where several female students were gathered in a corner.
Emily Parker recognized them; they were indeed Maria Carter's close friends.
Among them was a tall girl, pale-faced and sitting on the ground, moaning nonstop.
Emily Parker glanced at the school wall over two meters high behind them.
"Are you cutting class?"
At this time, the school was still in session.
Judging by the looks of these people, there was no need to guess; they had definitely snuck out to skip class.
"Stop asking all these questions.
