Carlos stared at the profile picture, momentarily struggling to believe what he saw. He quickly switched to his personal account.
The exact same Blue Sky profile picture.
Carlos thought again. On the day at the café, he had actually added Emily Parker on WeChat, but at the time he was annoyed by her, finding her to be a hypocritical woman, so he didn't wait long before deleting her from his contacts.
Carlos recalled the WeChat account his grandfather asked him to add, and thought back to the daily meal pictures his grandfather would share with him.
And wasn't there all that talk about his childhood, including asking for advice on how to charm a woman, and the good morning and good night texts?
Upon reflection, that didn't sound like his grandfather's usual tone of voice at all.
So the person he had been chatting with for over a month wasn't his grandfather, but Emily Parker.
