Bella Woods was stunned for quite a while before she digested Tessa Sutton's words.
She asked, "Who gave you such a daunting task?"
She spoke in a half-joking manner.
"It's not convenient to say. I just wanted to ask, do you still have feelings for Young Master Oliver..."
Tessa glanced towards Oliver Hughes's direction.
Since earlier, Oliver Hughes had looked displeased. Upon entering the small banquet, he simply sat in a corner, drinking and chatting with a few people from the circle.
When Tessa and Bella looked his way, his gaze just happened to shift to Bella, but he quickly turned away, clinking glasses with others nonchalantly.
Tessa whispered in Bella's ear, "From my observation, the way Young Master Oliver looked at you just now wasn't all that innocent."
Bella didn't respond, only looked down at Tessa covering her mouth, quietly giggling, which made it seem like there was an ambiguity between her and Oliver Hughes.
