Ivy River gasped in shock, instinctively stepping back, and watched as she lost her balance and was about to fall to the ground.
Edwin Blake swiftly wrapped his arms around her waist, holding her in his embrace once again.
Startled, Ivy clung to Edwin's neck out of fear.
The surrounding air suddenly fell silent.
Seeing everyone's shocked expressions, Ivy quickly pulled away and said irritably, "Edwin Blake, what are you doing!"
Edwin chuckled lightly, feeling quite innocent.
He had merely come to check on the situation, but he hadn't expected Ivy River to throw herself at him twice.
It was clearly his fault, yet he was still getting scolded...
Ivy glared at him, "Why don't you leave already, what are you still doing here!"
"I came here to find Alexander Hodges, and after doing a good deed, you're still here criticizing me?"
Edwin frowned at Alaric Taylor standing behind her, "Alaric Taylor, why are you still here, what are you doing?"
