Wang Feng replied while bowing slightly in salutation, "Greetings Senior Sister! My name is Wang Feng, a Lower Based Disciple of High Heaven Pavilion.", he saw her eyes narrow at that, but he continued.
"I... Uh...I got lost while traveling in the inner region and accidentally wandered into this place.", he spoke after thinking of a plausible excuse that wouldn't make him look too suspicious. Though it didn't help as he saw her pointed look.
To divert her attention, he said, "thank heavens, Senior Sister came to save me, otherwise I don't know what would have happened.", he spoke with a sigh, actually relived as he really would have been in a difficult spot if he had to fight the beast head on.
Su Yan looked at him for a few seconds and spoke, "although I feel that you are not telling me the truth.... *Sigh* forget it. Wait here till I finish my work. I'll lead you out of the mountain so that you 'don't get lost' again."
Wang Feng internally winced at her clear emphasis on his quote, but outwardly showed a relieved smile. He wasn't worried even if she really led him out as he had finished his purpose of coming here and had gained a massive haul of materials and increase in strength.
He saw as Su Yan walked to the beast and froze a part of it's body before ..... Smashing them with a tap. The beast's body broke down and left only a few things, one being a monster core, it's frozen heart, fangs, a few feathers and claws.
He was shocked at how she had dismantled(?) the beast, 'is that even possible!', he thought back to how he had to carefully cut open the beast before extracting the things he needed manually and felt like crying. 'Why! Why didn't I think of this!?'
He swiftly calmed down as he saw her pick up the things and storing them in a bag. She then walked to him and... threw the bag at him? He looked at her in confusion but only got a look before she started walking, understanding that she wanted him to carry them.
He sighed and followed behind her. As they walked through the forest, he tried to think of a way to talk to her. But her cold aura made it difficult to think for him if she would even respond to him.
But as they walked, an idea sparked in his mind, making him sigh at how he could forget such basic thing. He looked at Su Yan curiously and asked, "umm, senior sister.... Are you by any chance Senior Sister Su Yan?"
Su Yan stopped walking and blinked slightly before she looking at him, "you don't know about me?", not being narcissist or anything, but she knew that every desciple of the three factions knew about her, at least the ones above the ordinary desciples.
And it's not like she was the only one. Hu Jiao'er of the Blood Battle Group and Fang Ziqi of the Storm Manor are the same.
The reason? These three are the leading desciples from their respective factions. So Su Yan felt that Wang Feng, who was a Lower Base Desciple of her own sect, should know about her.
Wang Feng showed an awkward and slightly proud face before he uttered, "Uhh... No. You see Senior Sister. I joined the sect a few months ago."
Hearing this, Su Yan was again slightly surprised and looked at Wang Feng, "a few months ago? Wait, how old are you?", she asked as she observed him. She knew that there were people who started cultivating late, but even then they usually started cultivating by 13 years of age. So, she was a little at a loss about this.
Wang Feng smiled and answered, "hmm, I am 15 years old. I joined the sect two months before I turned 15. I just recently got promoted to a Lower Based Disciple."

The two then made some small talks during which Su Yan introduced herself and then advised Wang Feng to remain focused on his cultivation, even asking if he had any doubts.
Wang Feng was listening to her advises attentively and although he didn't need the advises, as he had far, far more knowledge about realms and their operatings than even those at the top of the Cultivation ladder, he had to keep a role of a junior brother who is fascinated by and driven in cultivation.
After walking for nearly two hours and talking a few times, Wang Feng asked a question that had been on his mind since she started leading him outside the mountain. "Senior Sister Su.... I want to ask you. Why are you personally leading me out?"
Su Yan answered the question without stopping or having any change in expression, "I am your Senior Sister, so it is my duty to not let you die here...", she looked at him, "... because of your recklessness."
Wang Feng chuckled wearily while rubbing the back of his head, feeling slightly embarrassed. The two then walked in silence for a few hours, talking briefly through it, and reached the edge of the inner region without encountering any attack or problem.
Here, Wang Feng and Su Yan parted ways. Wang Feng looked at Su Yan and said, "thanks for helping me Senior Sister Su. Farewell."
Su Yan shook her head slightly and replied before flying away like a fairy, "Keep cultivating seriously and ask the elders for help in case you have any doubts, Farewell."
Wang Feng looked at her fading back in the sky and thought to himself, 'just like she was depicted in the original. Cold on the outside and Warm on the inside, carrying the load of being the 'Senior Sister'.'
He sighed and shook his head before he bursted out with his Qi and rushed back down the mountain. As he was on the edge of the inner area, he was able to exit the mountain after just a few minutes, of rushing at the speed that could be comparable to a Peak Qi Transformation Realm cultivator.
After he had exited the mountain, he slowed down his speed and started walking back the way he came from the sect. He walked while thinking about his recent spoils.

Just as he was reaching the intersection, he heard a noise of fighting from the side and was surprised. He walked forward curiously and saw clearly what was happening, making his eyes widen.
He saw two groups of people fighting, one belonging to High Heaven Pavilion and the other to the Storm Manor. Seeing this, Wang Feng's eyes narrowed as he prepared to step in, if the fight gets brutal that is.
He saw as one of the disciples of the Strom Manor beat a disciple of High Heaven Pavilion to the ground. The other High Heaven Pavilion disciples stepped forward to help their fellow disciple that was getten beaten, but we're intercepted by the other group.
Wang Feng, who was watching this from the side and contemplating if he should step up now or not, considering that the cultivation of both groups weren't far off, except one person who had reached the 1st Stage Initial Element Realm.
"Huh?..... Why does this scene look familiar?", suddenly, Wang Feng's face became strange as he observed the scene playing out. As if on cue, one of the disciples of the High Heaven Pavilion that were intercepted by the other group shouted after seeing his leader being beaten brutally, "Young Master Su!!"
Wang Feng's eyes shot open as he heard this, "Wait... Is that Su Mu!? Fuck, This is the starting point of his and Yang Kai's friendship in the original!", after realizing that the scene in front of him was from the original plot, he looked around but didn't find Yang Kai.
"Why isn't he here?", He sighed before he looked in front of himself in surprise.

A bloody and battered Su Mu looked up at Cheng Shao Feng with Unyielding and furious eyes, he shouted while ignoring the various injuries he had on himself, "Cheng Shao Feng, if your don't finish this Young Master today, nothing will be over between us!"
Cheng Shao Feng's face contacted into an ugly and sinister smirk as he raised the stone he had in his hand and shouted while bringing it down, "You still dare to bark!?"
The High Heaven Pavilion disciples shouted in indignation and fear of seeing their leader's demise.
As the stone was about to hit Su Mu right in the face, a hand suddenly appeared and gripped on Cheng Shao Feng's hand before yanking it away.
"Ahh!", Cheng Shao Feng screamed as he was clung back with considerable force and collided with a boulder. Everyone, even Su Mu, was surprised at the sudden shift in circumstances and their eyes involuntarily followed Cheng Shao Feng's form that had collided with the boulder.
"What ruthless means... You sure wanted to kill him, huh?", a voice sounded from next to Su Mu, causing everyone to turn back and look at the source of the sound.
There, they saw the figure of a young man, standing straight as a sword and with a sharp aura, with black hair and eyes and cold expression on his face, wearing the standard High Heaven Pavilion, Lower Based Disciple robes.
Wang Feng looked around and inwardly frowned, 'is't Hu Mie'er supposed to be here as well, provoking Strom Manor disciples?', but as he looked around, he didn't see anyone who fitted the description of Hu Mie'er.
So, he just turned his attention back to Cheng Shao Feng, 'whatever, it's probably a butterfly effect.', his face turned cold as he looked at the Storm Manor desciples, who got scared and jumped back, releasing the High Heaven Pavilion disciples.
The High Heaven Pavilion disciples were overjoyed and stood up, shouting 'Greetings! Senior Brother'. Wang Feng just tilted his head slightly, acknowledging their presence before the disciples rushed to pick Su My up.
Wang Feng stepped forward, his momentum increasing as he did, his body releasing the raw bloodlust that he had accumulated the past few days, making all the disciples from Storm Manor shrink back in fear.
Cheng Shao Feng who had recovered slightly was looking at him with fear and felt his heart drop, "Yo..you, st..stop right there... You..you wouldn't want to....to.."
Wang Feng who heard this snorted, "to...to what?", his aura exploded to it's peak, making everyone under it collapse on the ground.
It is to be known that Wang Feng's current aura, at it's maximum, is comparable to that of a 9th Stage Qi Transformation Realm Cultivator in strength. So, these cultivators who haven't even reached Initial Element Realm, except Cheng Shao Feng who was at the 1st Stage, obviously couldn't hold themselves under the pressure.
Wang Feng squated down in front of Cheng Shao Feng and looked at him in the eyes, with his own cold ones, "you dare try to threaten me?". Although his voice was soft, it sent a chill of terror down Cheng Shao Feng's spine.
While inwardly, Wang Feng smirked, 'and so, It Begins.'
