Marco walked forward, his steps were extremely hurried. He was shocked at how a girl was trying to entice him to sunbath with her in those 'special' circumstances.
He continued into the trees opposite the beach trying to find some cover. He continued his strides until he was sure that no one was around.
To ensure that he was not exposed he walked deeper into the vegetation until he could barely see a meter around himself.
Satisfied he loaded up his map again to reconfirm the direction he needs to go. He was livid the moment he tried.
Why? Walking deep into the vegetation completely cut off his signal, seeing that he had absolutely no reception veins started bulging on his head.
He cursed under his breath while looking up at the sky, standing in that same spot he contemplated his situation until he said "screw it".
He kicked off the ground and appeared above a nimbus cloud. He was extremely sure that no one could see him there as he fiddled with his phone again. To his delight he had full reception and found the direction he needed to go.
This time he kept his phone out, although he really didn't want to pay the roaming charges he really didn't want to get lost again.
He shot towards his destination of Sparti with the thought of how fun the up coming training would be.
As Marco flew, a man with pale white skin, a head of grey hair and grey eyes was peering out a window.
He felt the power fluctuations from his 'trainee' headed in his general direction. Thanatos smiled gently while petting the cat on his lap.
Elegantly sipping his coffee he sent Aphrodite a message, saying "He is almost at my location, tell him to meet me in this specific cat cafe please."
After sending the message he went back to playing with the cat him his lap. After waiting a few seconds Marco walked though the door of the cafe.
What surprised Marco was that the moment he arrived all the cats in the cafe glared at him and hissed. Marco was extremely confused at this display but paid it no mind.
He scanned around the cafe and noticed that there was a grey haired man looking at him with what seemed like an expectant smile.
Marco didn't need to be a genius, just from the man's presence Marco could feel the power the man contained. Seeing he found his training partner he walked forward ignoring all the cats.
Before long he arrived in front of the man and stretched out his hand for a handshake. "I am Marco, I thank you for helping me train."
Thanatos was shocked, he met many powerful beings. One thing in common was that all were arrogant, no matter the situation he was sure they would prioritise their pride.
But this man greeted him with respect and even stretched out a hand in greeting. Something he had never seen another god do less one in his pantheon. She was always gentle, but all knew not to get on her bad side.
Kicking away his diverging thoughts, he placed the cat in his lap on the ground and stood up. He smiled gently and grasped Marco's hand in a firm handshake. "Nice to meet you, let's change our location for a better talk shall we."
