The heavy iron door slammed shut behind me, the echo of its weight trailing like a warning through the corridor. I could still hear the rogue's broken laughter echoing inside my skull, soft, wheezing, and laced with madness. He was right about one thing: someone was coming for me. And now, I needed to find out who. There were rogues that I needed to teach a lesson to. They first attacked me on my journey back home from the keep.of fate. I tried to rack my brain to find out who might be behind this but there were a whole lot of people who needed to get in line. I sighed. Anyone could be with the rogues that attacked me. My mind went to Levi but he wasn't that smart and connected enough to witl with those rogues. They were too sophisticated, too planned. Maybe the poison was made specially for me.
