I couldn't wait for my shift to end I was tired as hell,so I decided to sit down at the back, I glanced through my phone and saw serval missed calls from my mom and Issac,I sighed, I haven't checked my phone since I started working, I knew my mom would be so worried, she never liked the idea of me working in the club, going out in the night and returning the next morning, but I didn't have a choice we needed to make ends meet,ever seen my father left us we've been striving to make ends meet, it was never easy for us, not until I started working here, it's a whole lot of stress but the pay is worth it, I earn up to a hundred thousand dollars every week and to think I just started last month, including the various tips i get from alot of customers,this job was one of the best job I've ever had, and I couldn't even afford to loose it even if it meant taking shit from Mr lance and other customers but I had a limit which no one should dare to cross, remembering my missed calls I quickly called my mom and after a long talk of reassuring her that I was okay she finally hung up,and then I called Isaac
"skai "he said with relief as he picked the call
"hey" I said in a happy tone
I can guess from your tone that you missed me so much I teased, of course i did he said as I smiled.
hell you weren't picking your calls I thought something happened, your mom was so worried.
you guys worry too much I was only on my shift I said trying to reassure him I was okay, even though I wasn't.
you know there are other places,where you can work I don't feel to comfortable with you working at a club,same with Riley.
I know, know, but this job gives me alot of pay and I promise you I can handle my shit more than you think I can,and don't even get me started with Riley she wouldn't even let you talk her out of it,I said as he laughed, your right I could never he said as I smiled,just promise me that you would take care of yourselves and stay out of trouble.
yeah,yeah I said as I rolled my eyes,skai am fucking serious a club isn't a place to mess around alot of dangerous people are there he said concerned.
well then danger is my middle name I joked, skai am serious he said with all seriousness and I could tell he was so worried about me,
fine I promise I won't get myself into trouble, okay I really have to go see you when I get back, alright goodbye he said as I hanged the call I looked at my watch and saw that I had one more hour till my shift ends.
finally my shift came to an end, went home straight, when I opened the door everyone was already asleep as usuall as I quietly walked in had my bath and collapsed on my bed I was so tired and needed to sleep.
