Chapter 61 - 61. Edolas 1/?

Chapter 61

As Elsa promised, even the split sky didn't stop us from going to the local construction company. It was even a little funny to look at Mystogan's face as he watched us simply go about our business. As if Elsa hadn't just stopped a spatial attack aimed at swallowing up an entire city. Although we had to wait a little at the construction company itself. People were in a panic from such a large-scale event and it took them a while to understand our explanations that it was Elsa who stopped the catastrophe and it would be better for them not to ruin her day by closing for an unscheduled day off. Okay, I lied a little, there was no need to explain much, Elsa's displeased look was quite eloquent.

In the end, we spent 90 million precious ones on a two-story house that will be built near the fairy hill, with all the necessary spells for strengthening and automatic cleaning. Of course, we could have made these spells ourselves, after all, they are not complicated, but it would have taken quite a bit of time, and considering how much money we have, we could easily afford the extra expenses.

After spending several hours meticulously examining all the details of our future home, including furniture, we finally headed back to the guild.

The guild greeted us with the usual noise. The members of Fairy Tail were already so used to everything unusual that what had happened affected them even less than the return of Gildarts, around whom the others were now circling.

- Girls, come into my office, - the master's voice reached me.

- It's funny, I didn't know that the master knew wind magic. - I chuckled, realizing that only we heard the master's voice.

- Master knows a lot of different magic, so there is nothing surprising in mastering wind magic. - Elsa shook her head, and then, walking ahead, added. - Let's go, it seems the time has come to decide what to do with Edolas.

In Makarov's office, besides the master himself, we also met Mystogan and, oddly enough, Wendy and Charlie.

- You were gone for a long time, - the old man grumbled.

"We were just doing what we had planned for today. Edolas isn't such a big deal to upset Elsa about," I said dismissively.

- You've become too arrogant, Wendy.

"Not without reason, mind you," I said, not offended.

- Let's focus on the matter, - Elsa intervened. - Obviously, we can't let the attempt to destroy the city go unpunished, so the question is who will go on the punitive operation and how far it should go.

- Wait, I understand that you are angry at Edolas, but ordinary people are not guilty of anything. - Edo-Gerard immediately jumped up.

- No one will touch ordinary residents, - I waved it off. - Only the guilty will be punished.

- I understand. - the very nervous prince returned to his place. After all, during his time as part of Fairy Tail, he managed to understand how strong Elsa and I are, and unlike the Anime, the cleansing of dark guilds does not always happen without killing, it is enough to just fall incorrectly to die, so there is not so little blood on our hands. In fact, if we had gone crazy, it would have been a real disaster.

"All those present will be sent to Edolas," Makarov stated.

- Hmmm. Well, let's say that Wendy and Charlie can be easily protected, but why take them with us? - I asked.

"I had a vision," Charlie2 said, drawing attention to herself.

"What did you see?" Charlie asked.

- We will meet our mother. I am not from another world like Wendy, you and I are twin sisters.

Hearing this answer, our kitty went into a trance for a moment, and then said with a surprised face: "That's true."

- Well, what can I say, it seems like fate itself wants every Wendy to have her own Charlie. - I chuckled before Charlie hit me in the shoulder.

- For what?!

- Don't trivialize the situation.

- I didn't vulgarize it, it's just that your thoughts are too dirty.

- Girls, calm down, - Elsa sighed heavily, noticing that our words confused Wendy and Charlie.

- Ahem-ahem. - The Master cleared his throat to get attention. - Our task is to deprive Edolas of the ability to use Anima, as well as deal with those who designed it, so that such attacks do not happen again.

- Sort it out? - Mystogan asked again.

"We'll either erase their memory or kill them," I answered harshly.

- But…

- Gerard. Your world has gone to war with ours. Therefore, getting rid of only those who are guilty of everything is an extremely mild measure. - Elsa interrupted him.

"Master, is this really necessary?" Wendy asked worriedly.

- We can really do it differently. We can capture the guilty and send them to prison for the rest of their lives. - the master suggested something that only at first glance seemed better than death, because such a prisoner would face far from the best conditions of detention.

"Then…" the girl jumped up happily.

"I understand, just please let me talk to my father before it's all over," Gerard said, clenching his fists, interrupting Wendy, who was slightly confused.

"I also suggest taking the Exceeds and the local Fairy Tail to our world," I suggested.

- Are you sure? - Makarov asked.

- Of course, how can you refuse the cat girls a new home, and it's a pity for the magicians who can't use magic.

- Good. In that case, let's move. Elsa, can you open the portal? - Makarov addressed the scarlet-haired girl.

- Of course, but do you really want to go just like that without preparation? - Elsa raised an eyebrow.

- I have everything I need with me.

- As you say, master. - Elsa rolled her eyes and, taking the lacrima in her hand, began to create a portal.
