Chapter 10 - 10 Chat is this real?

"Emerge from darkness, blacker than darkness. Purify that which is impure."

As the words were spoken, a dark shadow began to spread from the sky like ink spilling across a canvas. Slowly, it descended, crawling to the ground until it formed a perfect sphere around Jotaro.

"Well done," Principal Yaga said, his tone calm. "You've successfully created the veil."

It had been a few days since Jotaro arrived at the Jujutsu high, and he was already making noticeable progress.

"But," Yaga added with a pointed look, "your cursed energy control is still below average. Keep working on that."

Jotaro winced as if struck. 'Can't you just let me enjoy this small success?' he thought.

"I'm going back to my room," Jotaro said curtly, brushing past Yaga without waiting for a response.

Walking through the grounds of Jujutsu High, Jotaro suddenly sensed someone approaching. Turning to his left, he spotted a tall blonde woman dressed casually. She carried herself with confidence, her striking figure and attractive face, impossible for Jotaro to not recognize.

"Hey," she called out, taking a closer look at him. "Are you the new guy?"

"Depends," Jotaro replied coolly. "Who's asking?"

The woman grinned. "Ho, I like your attitude," she said, striking a playful pose. "What's your type of woman?"

Jotaro stared at her, wondering if the entire school was full of oddballs. First, Gojo with his bad jokes. Then Suguru and his emo faze. Now this woman, Yuki Tsukumo, asking questions about his type.

Still, he humored the thought for a moment. What was his type? He'd never given it much thought, if he liked someone then he did and there was nothing more to it.

He wasn't particularly interested in actresses or celebrities on the tv, and relationships had never been successful in his past. But if he had to choose… perhaps someone with a great figure, who could take care of him.

His mind briefly wandered to the girls he knew in this world, First was Shoko. To be honest she was his favorite girl from the show and now she was real. Jotaro started thinking... she was attractive and dependable, also from what he had heard, rct users are very rare so the pay was also great.. in conclusion she will be rich in the future... But now she was too young for his liking.

Then his gaze shifted back to Yuki. She was strong, beautiful, and seemed confident enough to handle business when it came to it. Jotaro smirked as his intrusive thoughts won. Raising his hand.

"You…" he said dramatically as he pointed directly at her, replicating one of Dio's scenes.

To his surprise, Yuki's eyes widened, and she beamed as if she'd just won the lottery, happy that finally someone said her.

"Really?!" she exclaimed, her excitement lighting up her face.

"Who knows," Jotaro said nonchalantly, brushing past her. "I'm busy. Get out of my way."

Yuki then blinked in shock, standing still as if he had said something insane.

'There's no rush to find someone,' Jotaro thought as he walked off. 'I've lived 20 years by myself. I can hold out a little longer.'

As he entered the dormitory building, his eyes landed on two familiar faces. One was Suguru, looking even worse than before. The other was a younger boy with a bowl cut, (Yu Haibara) but Jotaro could not remember his name.

"hey," Jotaro greeted them casually. He was not a jerk who did not greet others for no reason.

"yo.." Suguru replied, his voice barely audible.

"Hello!" Haibara shouted enthusiastically, his energy was very much a contrast to Suguru's.

Jotaro frowned, noting how far Suguru had deteriorated, he reminded him of himself when he had lost all his confidence in his past life.

Jotaro debated whether to say something or leave him alone. 'Why do I even care? It's not my business,' he thought but then he felt annoyed for no reason 'Oh what the hell' Jotaro started to feel like a coward 'Why do I even care if it is or not my business'

"Suguru," Jotaro called out, stepping in front of him. "You look like trash."

Suguru blinked, taken aback by the bluntness, but didn't argue.

"Hey, that's not nice!" Haibara interjected, trying to defend his friend.

Jotaro ignored him, his voice growing sharper. "Since the day I came here, you've been getting uglier and uglier"

'Its worst then I thought' Without warning, Jotaro grabbed Suguru by the front of his shirt and lifted him off the ground.

"Let him go!" Haibara shouted, frantically trying to separate them, while Suguru frowned and was about to say something but Jotaro was faster.

"I don't know what happened to make you like this," Jotaro growled,

'That's a lie, in fact, I know.'

"But you're starting to get on my nerves." Jotaro continued

"The power you have is a responsibility, if you don't want it then that's just fine with me but don't go around acting like you would start a genocide just because you didn't receive your daily thanks"

"It's not that simp-" Suguru tried to say something but he was cut off.

"I can tell what kind of man you are," Jotaro cut him off. "You're not cut out to be a sorcerer. Someone who can't even fix themselves has no business thinking they can fix the world."

"Grow a spine already!" Jotaro shoved Suguru back into his chair before storming off, muttering curses under his breath.

Suguru sat there, stunned and overwhelmed. He didn't know whether to feel angry at what Jojo did, guilty, or something else entirely.

"What am I even doing…?" he murmured, looking up to see Haibara's concerned eyes.

Outside, Jotaro felt his frustration boil over. All he wanted was to give Suguru some advice, but his own emotions ended up getting the better of him.

'Why did I get so worked up?' he wondered. He wasn't close to Suguru, nor did he care about his choices. So why did it bother him so much?

Looks like someone still wasn't over his past life. Just seeing someone destined to thrive annoyed him, but watching that same person act all emo, like some kind of misunderstood hero when he had everything someone could ask for, was the final straw.

'I am thinking like a loser right now' Jotaro let out a sigh.

"Thanks," a low voice interrupted his thoughts.

Jotaro turned to see a figure leaning on the wall, it was Shoko, her expression calm as she puffed on a cigarette.

"For what?" he asked, genuinely confused.

"For talking with him when Satoru and I couldn't.... Suguru needed that so, thanks." Her words caught Jotaro off guard, and for a moment, he didn't know how to respond.

"Whatever," he muttered leaving her behind and stuffing his hands into his pockets. He wasn't in the mood to sleep anymore, he wanted to relieve some of his anger.
