Chapter 147 - Start Class

By now Rope was standing at the podium.

As he looked around, the auditorium was packed. In the first row sat the professors and the trainers and researchers who had come here in admiration.

After that, there were students of all ages from all colleges of Celadon University. These students were older than Rope by a year or two, while the younger ones were only a year or two younger than Rope.

At this time, Rope was already famous all over the world, but now they were still unknown little people in the word campus.

It must be said that the academy school is really too slow to start.

In Rope's original world, after receiving a higher education, they were able to obtain better job opportunities compared to others. And overall this is kind of indisputable.

But in Pokémon's world, the age at which one is allowed to register as a trainer is only ten.

In other words, ten year olds are allowed to travel into the wild. It's just that there are generally fewer parents who choose to do so. But it wasn't unheard of; after all, Ash, who was about to go on a trip, was an example of this, even though Ash didn't look or have the body shape of a ten year old, but instead looked like a fifteen or sixteen year old teenager. But the latest a trainer who doesn't study at school can go on a trip is 16 years old, and actually fifteen or sixteen was just the right age.

And academy trainers basically don't come into contact with the wilderness in the true sense of the word until they're 18 if they're going to stay in school until they graduate.

Trainer is a job that eats talent and experience. Who are you to expect that someone with at least two or three more years of experience than yourself will be weaker than you?

Almost none of the academy trainers can stand up and talk.

The tendency of all academies is also to breed research talent. The good thing was that there were indeed quite a few talents cultivated in this area. All the academy schools weren't so bad that they were beaten by the traveling schools.

However, the so-called academy faction and the traveling faction didn't have any conflicts or contradictions, at most, they just didn't see eye to eye with each other. And the real bosses don't call themselves a certain faction.

Rope is a traveler by experience, but he doesn't look down on academics, and he doesn't think of himself as a traveler. He's just slightly 'a little' down on trainers who stay in school until they're 18 or even 22.

Nowadays, the requirements for trainers in the various universities were really ridiculously low. Four field practices per month. Each practice is only one day...

What is this? Is this some kind of house or trainer cosplay?

It's not like the bosses at the academy haven't thought about reform, but how can the parents who send their students to school agree? Isn't keeping their children out of danger the basic requirement for sending them to school? If they want to send their kids on trips, then a month or two at a summer or winter camp is enough.

Back on topic, Rope's lecture, has begun.

When Rope and Cynthia, who was on the stage, smiled at each other, she raised her head, looked squarely at the crowd in front of her, and spoke:

"Welcome everyone to today's public lecture. To be honest, I wasn't expecting such a big show today." Rope opened his mouth and helplessly said, "Originally, I just wanted to come to Celadon University to popularize the basics of Legendary Pokémon with the students and hopefully arouse the interest of some of them. But now it seems that this open class can't end so hastily."

"So then, all the students here are also blessed. In addition to hearing me interpret the role of the original Legendary Pokémon today, you will also be bringing a new research report!"

Applause rang out from the stage.

"This Rope guy, he really doesn't look like a teacher."

Blue looked at Rope on stage and said slightly helplessly.

"It can't be helped, Professor Rope, he seems to be about the same age as you, Blue-senpai. That means he's the age of the students on stage. Letting such a young man lecture and trying to make him speak like an old-timer...it's too difficult for him."

Gold said with his hands resting behind his head, rather uncomfortable.

He didn't even want to listen to a lecture right now. He was now more interested in finding a place to go out and play pool or something. Even if he could find someone to play a no-rules match for once, it would be good!

"Ah!!! I want to play a No Rules Match so badly... Blue-senpai, practice with me!"

Gold first wailed helplessly, then looked at Blue and said.

Blue looked at Gold, who was in no shape to fight, and shook his head helplessly before suddenly revealing a bright smile at the corner of his mouth, "Listen to the lecture properly. Turn around and let Rope play a no rules match with you."

The moment these words came out Daisy and even Amanita on the side knew that Blue this guy didn't have good intentions.

Daisy aside, Amanita had watched Rope and Darkrai fight with her own eyes!

But Gold didn't know about this one!

"Oh! Is Professor Rope also good at unruly sparring! That's great! Then thank you, Blue-senpai!"

Gold's eyes flashed with a hint of surprise. For him challenging Rope, who had grown up with Blue Red, was also something to be happy about. Moreover, he was confident in his irregular sparring strength. Confident that even if it was Red he would dare to go through two moves.

That's true, rather than the fact that of all the Pokédex holders, Gold is the one with the most wild fighting talent.

Rope was open and couldn't count...

So at this point, Amanita looked at Gold with what could only be described as pity.

Sapphire and Ruby on the other side were fine, originating from a daughter of Professor Birch, a son of Petalburg Gym Gym Leader Norman, and even Wallace's disciple, so they were quite comfortable with such an occasion.

"Professor Rope is still really young and talented! Now he can already be on par with Master and the others!"

Ruby looked at the eloquent and excessively young Rope on the stage and couldn't help but sigh.

"Indeed! The last time I saw Professor Rope he was just a small researcher, and was following Sister Daisy over to ask Father for a piece of information."

Sapphire and Rope had met. But it was only once, after all, this Rope fellow was an outsider. It was already quite rare to be able to mix with everyone to this level of familiarity.

On stage, Rope's lecture had reached the symbiotic relationship between World Tree and Mew and their significance in maintaining the stability of the entire region.

The students under the stage were also listening with a fine sense of humor, and Rope's lecture was sort of easy to write. After all, these were things he had experienced firsthand. And the discipline itself was literature plus practice.

The stories are already full of legends. Plus is not the literature and corroboration. It really made people understand more while being convinced.

After a while, Rope had already given a richer interpretation of the paper he had originally presented at the conference. Judging from the reactions of Professor Oak and the others on the stage, it was also effective.

"So, this is an open class, and I can't just talk up here alone. Are there any of those students who have questions to ask?"
