"Mors," Athena said slowly, choosing her words carefully. "What exactly are you hoping for with this… public wedding? What do you want the world to see?"
Mors seemed to consider this question for a moment, his eyes thoughtful.
"I want them to see what we are. A united front. I don't want there to be any more secrets, any more doubts. We're stronger than that."
He paused, his gaze turning intense. "And I want the world to know that you are mine, Athena. No more hiding."
Her heart skipped a beat, and her breath caught in her throat. The sincerity in his eyes, the weight of his words, made her chest tighten.
She wasn't sure if she was ready for all of this. A public wedding, the eyes of the universe upon them. Was it too soon? Or was it the right time?
"I need time to think," she finally said, her voice quiet but resolute.
Mors nodded, as though he had been expecting that answer.
