And the fact that it was Lilith who taught him these things… well, it only made the succubus priestess even more unnerving. Lunareio's mind was curious about how exactly she had taught him such things, but he decided it best not to trouble his thoughts with unnecessary… perhaps disturbing thoughts.

He took a step forward, only to be halted by Gregor raising a hand dramatically—as if casting a spell or performing Shakespeare, it was hard to tell.
"Just a moment, my lord," Gregor said. He reached into his coat and pulled out… a mask.
It was deep midnight blue with white constellation markings, a full moon pressed proudly on its forehead. A demon's face, elegant but unsettling.
"To hide your face, my lord," Gregor said, bowing his head reverently. "For I fear that a face as beautiful as yours is unworthy of being seen by mere mortals."
Lunareio stared at the mask.
