The young girl hurriedly slammed the front door to her upside-down boat-like home. She exhaled a large breath of cold air when she verified that the coast was clear. Only then did she hop above the long sheet of freshly cut wood that made up her home's flooring.
Because of the constant attacks by entities nearly as big as their entire village—some even bigger—the homes of Villagers were being constantly torn down. As a result of this, houses were almost never not under construction, with some having been rebuilt hundreds of times.
Thankfully, the Bonecliff Villagers were adept at fighting and constructing, else the whole Village would now be no more than a gigantic pile of rubble… And with how many times it had been attacked, that wasn't even an exaggeration…
It truly was tough being the little guys in a vast world filled with only big guys…
