"Family?" Vernon frowned. This was the first time he had ever heard someone say such a thing.
How could anyone feel that some stranger is a family member? If it was after communicating for a long time, then he could understand.
For example, his family members treat Helena as their own child after looking at her all her life. Even if they did not get married, they would still treat her as their own family member, and he was sure of that.
But how could Helena feel that some random stranger gave her the feeling of that family just like that?
"It's weird, right? I thought so, too. But what could I do? I got that feeling from him," Helena was actually as confused as Vernon as well.
