Stirring the slightly melted shaved ice, Lariette took another bite. She almost made a little, quick dance while still sitting on the chair.
Her mood was good today, but this sweet and cold dessert made her happier.
"Oh," Lariette blinked, suddenly realizing something. She stared at Ruediger across the table, "Eddy, did Maddie text you? About her cafe's new event?"
Ruediger paused from eating, still chewing the bite. His eyes gleamed with mirth as he was reminded of the particular event.
"Do you mean the 'Enchanted Garden' event? I've seen the new posts on the cafe's account," answered Ruediger after swallowing the sweet red beans, "It'll be held next Saturday, right?"
Lariette quickly nodded, "Yup! Maddie wants us to join. She said it's better if we go there at night. The main highlight is at nine, but she keeps it secret."
