Inside, the air was more incredible, the fog replaced by a faint golden light that seemed to come from the walls themselves. The room was small and bare, save for a single pedestal in the centre.
On the pedestal sat a small, glowing orb.
Kent's eyes sparkled. "Now we're talking!"
He approached the pedestal cautiously, half-expecting more ghouls to burst out of the ground. When nothing happened, he grinned and reached for the orb.
As his fingers closed around it, the system chimed.

Name: Soul Fragment Orb.
Description: Contains remnants of a mighty warrior's soul. It can be used to enhance spiritual techniques or summon a temporary guardian. The host can also use it to level up Soulbinder Nima's servants.
Kent whistled, holding the orb up to the light. "A temporary guardian, huh? Sounds handy. Wonder if it'll look like a big, buff dude or something cool like a dragon."
