Down at the harbour, chaos reigned. The monstrous sea creature continued its wild thrashing—its dark, undulating tentacles splintering concrete and sending spray high into the air. Amid the tumult, many Azure Guards manned the front lines.
The defenders were led by the drunken tier-4 officer, Captain "Crusty," and the ever-determined law Enforcement Lady, Sergeant Sparkle.
"Alright, maggots!" bellowed Captain Crusty, his voice gravelly as he swung a battered baton. "Let's show this slimy blob that our city isn't for squishy-eating!"
Sergeant Sparkle, standing prim and ready with her sidearm, added, "Remember if you get all gooey from that monster, wipe it off and keep fighting! This isn't a mud-wrestling contest, people! It's a do-or-die situation."
