Harper nodded but completely ignored the question about the pill's origin. "That's why my family calls me 'The Walking Cauldron.' But here's the catch—these pills require time to refine. If I eat too much too quickly, my stomach gets overloaded, and the process slows down."
Mia shuddered. "I can't believe I just witnessed a man literally digest food into medicine. I don't know whether to be impressed or horrified."
Kent chuckled. "It makes sense now. No wonder you eat so much—you're basically a living alchemy furnace."
Harper patted his stomach with pride. "That's right. And if I really push myself, I can even refine enhanced versions of these pills, but that requires me to eat a lot."
