Mika picked up a plaque at random and swallowed a large amount of saliva in one gulp. She dreaded this fight from the beginning. 'Mary! Please step forward and select your opponent.' The shy girl stepped forward, bowing curtly at the other witches and turning to the table to pick up one of the plaques. The name inscribed read 'Tanya', this was one of the Russian girls who had recently moved to France. Her speciality was wind magic type spells.
