You had to muster every little courage to push Jiho away from you, "You must be delusional." You snarled and quickly dashed out of the room.
Jiho was indeed taken aback, he can't seem to wrap his head around your relationship. One minute you look in love with him and in the next, you are pushing him away.
He retired to his seat and started going through the files he received from the store keeper. These are project that are very much similar to the 'Seoul cares' project. Going through them might help him understand what he needs in order to win against his brother.
Heart thundering in your chest, you stroll down the office lounge and decided to go the restroom to freshen up. On your way there, you cross paths with Hana.
Upon seeing you, her face turned black and she struts up to you, "Hello, Ari. I heard you were sick, how are you feeling now?"
"If I wasn't better, you wouldn't be seeing me now, would you?" You responded sarcastically.
Hana gave a soft chuckle, "Ah, you must be upset about that night. I am so sorry that you had to see me kissing Jiho."
You fold your fist, gave her a short and turned to leave but then she said,
"But I'm not sorry for kissing him."
You immediately hit the brakes and sharply flicked around to face her, "What did you just say?" You had to ask again to confirm if your ears were not deceiving you.
Smirking, she stepped closer, staring at you at an eye-level.
"I said, I am not sorry for kissing Jiho." She repeated her answer with more snare to her tone this time around. "Why exactly should I hide how I truly feel? I know you might feel hurt by this truth but it is that simple. I don't believe that Jiho loves you. I am very sure that there is something you are hiding from the public."
Despite flirting with the idea of punching her in the gut, you keep your rage at bay and said, "You truly are a shameless woman, Kim Hana."
She only shrugged.
You rolled your eyes, saying, "But I am not surprised by your actions. You decided to abandon Jiho of your own selfish reasons and now that he's finally happy, you are back hoping you could destroy our beautiful relationship."
Your words are clearly starting to get to her, given how slowly the color is draining from her face.
You continue, "You kissed my husband that night and I only let you go because you looked pathetic. And Jiho didn't say anything not to embarrass you in front of the public but let me warn you… stay away from my husband." You turned to leave but Hana wasn't done with you.
She barked, "Jiho will never love you. HE CAN NEVER LOVE YOU!"
You face her steaming face with a smile, "Unfortunately for you, he loves me so deeply that he betrayed his own brother just to be with me."
With those words, you stroll off.
Kim Hana isn't one to easily accept defeat. She immediately pulls out her phone from her Chanel hand bag and dialed a number. "I need you to go with the plan."
The man on the other side said, "Are you sure?"
"What do you even mean by that?" She yelled, "If I wasn't sure, would I be calling you? Just do as I said you f**king dimwit!" She ended the call.
You enter the restroom and slammed the door, "That rotten woman! How dare she say that to my face, HOW DARE SHE!!"

Their flight was in the morning so they had wake up early and check out of their rooms. Joon had already booked a cab and was patiently waiting for Yuna to be done. When she had finished the formalities, she enter the ride with him but said not a single word to him. Jiho understood she might be feeling embarrassed by what happened last night and decided not to say anything to her either.
They reached the airport and in a few minutes, boarded the plane and are now on their way back to Seoul.
Yuna was supposed to be in economic class but at the last minute, Joon had her upgraded to business class.
He must have felt the pressing need to do so hoping it would uplift her bruised confidence. Yuna had no idea how to feel about such a gesture, is Gong Joon pitying her?
They went through the flight without saying a word to each other and when they finally landed, Yuna quickly cleared her stuff and was prepared to leave without Joon but he was one step ahead. He already had his car brought to him and parked outside the airport.
He offered to give her a ride home and she couldn't decline. They put their stuff in the booth and both entered the car. Joon started it and drove into the cold winds of the city.
They were still both quiet.
"I have never seen you so quiet before." Joon finally broke the silence.
Yuna wished he hadn't said anything but now that he had, she have no choice but to respond. "I never thought I could be this quiet either."
Hearing her response made Joon wish he had swallowed his words instead. Was he inconsiderate for saying that to her?
He tried to make another attempt, "About last night…"
"Can we not talk about it!?" She interrupted him, making it sound like a request but it was more of a warning to Joon not to push it.
He understood the assignment and zipped his lips for the rest of the ride. They finally reached Yuna's apartment located in a medium area.
He had the courtesy of taking down her luggage for her.
"Thank you." She said and turned to leave.
"Till when are you going to keep being like this?"
His question made her turn to face him, "what do you mean?"
He had been thinking of what to say all this while and it has been itching him to speak his mind. He sighed, "I know that you were shaken by what happened and I apologize for it but you can't be like this. Come on, tell me what I need to do to lighten up your mood?"
Yuna chuckled in disbelief, "I can't believe this shit!" She mumbled, now lifting her head to glare at Joon, "what are you apologizing for? Did you grope me? What exactly are you apologizing for?"
Stunned, Joon said, "You are being hostile."
"Being hostile would be me slapping you hard across the face." She dropped the honorifics, "What makes you think last night is the only reason why I am sulking? And why exactly must I feel okay because you want me to? Am I a robot that is designed to please you, to smile when you want? You keep annoying me for no reason!"
At this point, Joon had nothing to say and keeps staring at Yuna wide eyed.
She momentarily paused to regain her composure and drew a deep relaxing breath. "Look, Mr Gong Joon, as a woman, there are days I am chivalrous and there are days I hate everything. My mood is not always related to men, okay?"
He vigorously nodded.
"I am sorry if I was a bit over the line." She said and waddled off.
Joon entered his car but was unable to start it, how can someone be so fierce? All I did was ask if she'd wanted anything. Did she have to be so rude?

You finished freshening up and came out of the restroom only to see the employees running up and down as they whisper about some article.
What is going on?
You immediately pulled out your phone and saw the notification of over a thousand messages in just five minutes.
Your heart skipped a beat, you can feel it in your bones that something is awfully wrong.
Reluctantly, you tap into the internet and the first article that popped up on your feed leaves you hurt and feeling betrayed.
It is a picture of Hana kissing Jiho from that night.
So this is part of that rotten b**ch's plan?
You can feel the tears instantly welling up in your eyes.
You put your phone away and find yourself lifting your head only to see Jiho dashing into the room. He looked nervous and when he sees you standing, he stopped in his tracks and only stared; his eyes begging you to forgive him.
At the blink of an eye, people from the office came and surrounded you awaiting the drama to unfold. Hana was also among them and she looked happy knowing that she had struck you with a massive blow.
So many thoughts swirled in your head as you strode towards Jiho and raised your hand like you were going to slap him, and he instinctively closed his eyes, awaiting the impact.
But instead of slapping him like the public had expected, you gently caress his cheek, stepped on your toes and pressed your lips on his.
