"Camila." The woman gave him another warm smile.
"Miss Camila, can you tell me how to get these slayer credits?" This was the first time Ethan was hearing about it, and he definitely did not have any.
"Ah, slayer credits, right. I forgot you were a new student," she said, tapping the crystal tablet beside her. A soft chime sounded as a new screen flickered into view, displaying a long column of names, rankings, and numerical values next to each.
"Slayer credits are the academy's contribution to merit-based advancement… and elite resource access. You earn them by heading over to the wilderness, completing assigned academy missions, or turning in mutated wilderness beasts and items that contribute to research. You also have to join a slayer's guild."
