Liam stood at the entrance of the cave, his eyes scanning the daunting landscape before him. The ground below was a sheer drop of over a hundred meters, the jagged rocks and treacherous terrain stretching out as far as he could see. There were no stairs, no clear path down the mountain—only the option to jump or climb slowly and cautiously.
Neither option was viable for him.
Jumping from such a height would be suicidal at his current cultivation stage, and climbing would not only waste precious time but also risk exposure to patrols or worse.
