"It's nothing. I'm just..." Marionette looked off to the side, looking away from Lillian's interrogating stare as she thought of the next part of her sentence.
"I'm just tired."
"Eh? Tired? Have you been doing something that can get you tired, or something?" Lillian tilted her head, perplexed. Was this really the reason why she had become so cold?
Marionette eyed the girl silently before snorting, "Hmph. Things. I've been doing things... On my own." She emphasised, causing Lillian to slouch a bit and give her a deadpan stare.
"Ehh...? On your own? We've practically been stuck together. What do you mean 'on your own'?"
"Have we, though?" Marionette raised an eyebrow, glaring intently at the girl, "From what I recall, you've been heading off to the library for some reason, which I could only assume to be studying."
"..."
Lillian waited for Marionette to continue. Only to find out she wasn't.
