Fu Shihan looked towards the reporter who had asked the question. His gaze was drawn out, holding a smile that wasn't quite a smile.
He stared at her steadily for a few seconds before, finally, she nervously swallowed her saliva, feeling a chill down her spine.
It was broad daylight, and there were so many people around her. Yet, for some reason, she was still frightened by Fu Shihan's gaze.
She looked into the cold gleam in the man's eyes before her and slowly heard him say —
"Now you stand with me; does that also imply we have some issue between us?"
Fu Shihan has always disliked the media prying into his private life. There had been media bold enough to try before, and the results were disastrous. Today, the rare sight of him with a woman in the same frame excited them, and they momentarily forgot the taboo.
Fu Shihan withdrew his gaze, no longer troubling the reporter who was trembling with fear, and spoke seriously.
