The call she had with her dad only made her feel guilty. Now she wonders if what she is doing is really a wrong move. She is doing this on behalf of those girls he took hostage. Nicholas isn't a good person, she thought to herself.
Amber tried to assure herself that what she is doing is for a good cause. She wasn't going to back fork now. She is going to finish up what she started. She dropped her phone and called it a day. She ended up being home with her son.
Now she is feeling homesick just because of a call. Ethan was playing with his nanny when she walked inside. He ran to give Amber a hug. "I've missed you, Mommy," he said. Her heart melted at the sound of his voice.
He felt so happy to hear her again. "I've missed you too, my baby. What have you been doing without me?"
"I was playing ball with Nanny," he said.
She chuckled. "That's nice of you. Can I play with you?"
"Yeah, Mommy."
