"You're not one to tell me what to do. What I do in my house is not of your concern, so stop interfering," she said, leaving no room for argument. Nicholas heaved a sigh.
"I know I was wrong, but I wanted to see you, that's all. I didn't expect them to open the door, and they did. I didn't force them to open it. Ask them if you want to."
She rolled her eyes. "Just don't come again. This should be the last time." "How are you doing?" he asked with a concerned voice.
She was confused. "What?" "How was your day? Hope you didn't stress too much?" "Now are we back to acting like you care?" she asked, confused.
