Tesarius and Edward were busy preparing for the war ahead.
Now that Edward would not be joining them, the knights of the March would be required to guard the capital and the Palace, while the Emperor's guard and Empress's guard went off to battle. But here was the ordeal.
They had to do it all in secrecy.
"Who else knows about this matter, Tesarius?" Edward asked, staring at the map before them while Tesarius leaned back on his chair, stretching his neck. "Other than you, me, Aurora and Sera, Comannder Borgis knows, and Vice Commander Anne. I assume you shared about this with Roland?"
Edward nodded. "If the knights of the March are to guard the Palace, they need to know what is going on."
Indeed."
"So are we saying no one else?"
"Can we?" Tesarius questioned back, shaking his head disapprovingly. "We still don't know who the mole is, letting any of the Houses know will benefit no one but the House of Douglas. For all we know, they might be waiting for this opportunity."
