Lexington Academy of Medical Sciences
The midterm result just came out.
The classroom was noisy as students had their eyes fixated on their phone, refreshing the portal uncountable number of times for their result.
Sitting next to the window, red hair swaying gently, pale translucent skin like glass, the girl appeared otherworldly.
Amy's lips curled into a sneer when she walked to the classroom and saw the scene, at the same, Quinn turned her gaze, and she immediately waved her sister.
"Hey?"
Amy flashed a light smile as she skipped to Quinn's desk, holding her phone in a hand. The students made way for her, and couldn't help but look over as she sat before her sister.
Both sister were one of a kind, their looks were gorgeous, one having straight strawberry blonde hair and the other having curly brown hair. One icy blue eyes like ice on a lake, calm and serene, with a hint of smile in them. The other with emerald eyes like fresh autumn was cute and lovely, refreshing.
"Sister, have you seen your result?" Her phone in front of her chest, Amy asked coyly, sitting beside her sister.
Quinn looked over, raising a brow. "the result is out?"
"Yes!" Amy nodded immediately, her expression secretive whilst a sly smile dance on her lips, "And this time around, I think I will get the Porscheeeee."
Miller had promised whoever got the highest grade between them for this midterm test is going to get a Porsche 911 from him. They had just turned eighteen, and never had a sport car of their own, so they were especially motivated to get the best result.
Quinn smiled lightly, and she brought out her phone from her pocket, logging into the school portal.
She don't really mind not having a car, after all, she wasn't the type that loves going out a lot, and whenever she wishes, there was a driver that could take her anywhere she wishes with the ones they have in the mansion.
Meanwhile, Amy peered at the screen, her palm turning sweaty while she tried her best to maintain her smile.
The car meant a lot to her. She has boasted to her friends that she would go racing with them after years of being left out, an action that her father didn't tolerate, but she would anyway.
Shouldn't she enjoy her life?
Unfortunately, she has no car, and she don't dare to use any of her father's car in case he found out.
Quinn could feel her younger sister's faint breath on her neck, and she couldn't help but find her cute.
"Calm down, will you?" she teased without looking up.
Amy rolled her eyes playfully in return, though she couldn't deny heart racing with both curiosity and trepidation. She was actually quite a bit confident with her result, it was from both her hardworking and her friends helping. Moreover, she made sure to subtly try to prevent Quinn from reading. She would stick with Quinn during the day, and at night, she would still go lurk in her room, trying to prevent her from reading by being 'playful,' and finally, when Quinn has fallen asleep, she would snuck out and into her own room to read her book.
She was sure that Quinn's result is going to be even worse than last semester.
With so many students on the portal, it took quite some for the page to load.
"Uh… it's out!" Amy snatched the phone immediately before Quinn could look at her own result.
Her eyes slowly froze as they skimmed through the detailed result in Arial font.

Her smile vanished like it was never there, and the hand holding the phone slowly turned pale, trembling, as her breath got caught halfway in her chest.
"What's my result?" Quinn was a bit puzzled when Amy suddenly became immobile, and she couldn't help but asked.
A lump lodged in Amy's throat, preventing her from uttering anything.
She couldn't even identify the emotions she was feeling, a mix of betrayal, that Quinn was reading behind her back, and she has been playing her like some fool, making her jump around like some idiots, made her felt so utterly stupid with herself.
"When did you read?" She couldn't resist asking, her hand forming into a fist behind her skirt as she tossed the phone before Quinn.
Taking the phone, Quinn's eyebrow arched with surprise, and she voiced out with amazement. "Woww, I've never perform this well."
She always came third and never first, and her GPA was always around 3.91-3.94, so right now, she did better than she ever did.
She finally looked back at Amy, replying her question. "I studied after you went to sleep in your room."
She didn't think anything was wrong with her answer. Rather, she was naive enough to not think too much into her sister's illogical behaviour.
She just assumed that she needed some affection since she became clingy with her. Moreover, Olenna happened to have travel around that time, so it made sense that Amy would come to her at night to sleep, since she usually was close to Olenna.
She didn't think too deep into it at all.
However, something that seemed confusing to Quinn is that every time after they slept, with her pretending to sleep to make Amy also sleep, Amy would snuck out of the room.
She has been meaning to ask her about it, but then decided against it, assuming that Amy couldn't just rest well.
