Everyone got the language converter masks, which they had to put on so that they could deal with the Crappy Birds.
The mask could do both, convert Crappy Bird's language to Human language, and vice versa.
It was so that humans would be able to deliver a more appropriate insult if they knew what the Crappy Birds were talking about.
