Cassius twisted the creature's neck, his eyes zeroing on the odd collar that was placed on a few of the creatures that had attacked him. When he had focused on it, he could see that there was some kind of a tag on the collar written in cursive letters saying: "10002" "10480" and underneath the tag was an even smaller letter that was slightly smudged saying "Human turned Vampire" "Human" "Pureblood."
Human turned Vampire.

Pureblood.
So. Not just mere remnants but records. These remnants were categorized, tagged like livestock, a result of their experiments.
Cassius's jaw tightened. These informations were enough for him to confirm that these creatures were a fruit of experimentation created by Owen and his team. It would also mean that this man would have more information that could serve them a breakthrough to this case.
